(Daddy's home - Cliff Richard) You're my love You're my angel You're the girl of my dreams I'd like to thank you For waiting patiently Daddy's home, Daddy's home, to stay (Donna - Ritchie Valens) I had a girl and Donna was her name Since she left me I haven't been the same but oh my girl Donna, where can she be? Where can she be? Oh, Donna, oh, Donna Oh, Donna, oh, Donna (Silhouettes - The Rays) Took a walk and passed your house late last night All the shades were pulled and drawn way down tight From within, the dim light cast two silhouettes on the shade Oh, what a lovely couple they made silhouette, silhouette, silhouette, oh silhouette, silhouette, silhouette, oh (What's your name? - Don & Juan) What's your name? Is it Mary or Sue? What's your name? Do I stand a chance with you? It's so hard to find a personality with charms like yours for me Ooh-ee, ooh-ee, ooh-ee (We belong together - Ritchie Valens) You're mine and we belong together Yes, we belong together, for eternity (Blue moon - Dean Martin) Blue moon you saw me standing alone Without a dream in my heart Without a love of my own Blue moon you saw me standing alone Without a dream in my heart Without a love of my own

Singing and chanting is integral to their culture. When the Christian missionaries got to their islands and convert them, they switch to hymnal in group singing especially. The movie soundtrack, The thin red line, is a good reference.

@hughdonlon42933 жыл бұрын
Bobby Joe Jr. what you don’t know is before the illegal annexation of HawaiʻI we had treaties with just about the entire world but now that we are part of the US that puts a huge target on our backs. We were almost bombed by North Korea and that’s because we have US military bases. The illegal annexation also buried our culture, almost lost our language and make people to be ashamed to be Hawaiian and to be who we are.

That is the way Dan Seals played too he’s only the second person I seen play left handed like that 👍 and I think it’s not particularly a “skill” as just the natural way they can play an instrument. One thing really unique about it is the sound the guitar makes with the bottom strings on the bottom . Either way you interpret it it’s way cool and very unique. 👍

My friends, I can only tell you the love that you have in your hearts for this music brings overwhelming tears to my eyes I am also a singer forever! The love I hear in your singing and passion for the words of All of these song's, reminds me of everything I grew up with my beautiful mother, and the love that I have for music and singing in her honor. I love all of you three for putting this song together with guitars and acapella for the Love of what all of you three know is true in life, and it is love. It has been a long time awaiting in my life as I am going to be 51 in July. But I can tell you I will go to sleep tonight with the tears of unhappiness and but utmost the joy that I had in my life as a Young Man growing up with these beautiful songs and dancing with my mom because of this music. Did she held so dear to her heart, and that is never left my heart or my soul to this day. I pray with all that is in me did all three of you thrive with bringing back to beautiful songs that make love what it is and what we are. I wish I could meet all of you right now, because I would love nothing more than to hug all of you, and to also sing these words to these beautiful songs to the highest of her voices. May God bless you forever more. Thank you for this memory they're all three of you if given to me this day. I will listen to this over and over again until I can take it no more. You guys are awesome. But I could sing like a songbird as well, and I would love to be invited to be with you guys to share these kind of memories with all of you.
