Spread over 465 kilometres (289 mi), the suburban railway operates 2,342 train services and carries more than 7.5 million commuters daily. By annual ridership (2.64 billion), the Mumbai Suburban Railway is one of the busiest commuter rail systems in the world and it has some of the most severe overcrowding in the world. Trains run from 04:00 until 01:00, and some trains also run up to 02:30.
Recently MMRDA announced it is investing up to 48000 thousand crore to re-haul the entire rail network by introducing new services, coaches, signalling equipment

Mumbai has no issue like that as shiv sena doesn't allow outsiders.. Still Delhi is much better than mumbai.. Except for Bollywood and stock exchange, mumbai has nothing to offer

Very interesting video. Ofcourse this is real pic. I never went Mumbai but I can understand the problem of Mumbai. Hmm... A most populated metro city in India but there are some major lack in transportation of Mumbai. A city should have better transportation system other wise that particular city would not be good. I also went Kolkata and there is some better option unlike Mumbai but lots of problems there too. But if you think better transportation system metro city in India, you will have to plan to go Delhi - second most populated metro city in India. Delhi has more easiest and safe transportation system with world level buses and metro routs. Delhi has also 1.5 crores people but when you use public transport there you will feel special because of largest metro rail network and lots of best metros. Only disadvantage of Delhi public transport is expensive rate of ticket but there is no problem. Delhi has more developed than according to the transport system.

I completely disagree with last person, he wants to roam 1000 AC buses on road, that means more air pollution, more traffic problems. and most importantly the buses are not free, their maintenance and service will hit their service like BEST service, so more metro and monorail lines are only transportation option left for Mumbai.
