I have gone through this exercise I was lucky my mother didn't throw the shares certi out, it took me 12+ months to get it all sorted. Luckly I was in mumbai where RTA was situated so i visited their office twice. I am so Glad u made this vedio swati ji it will help a lot of ppl

Unclaimed Dividend of 2012 was transfered to iepf and shares too although account was well active and subsequent dividend was regularly credited to my account. I made many personal visits to iepf office in delhi then after one year I got my shares back by the time price fell 50 percent of the shares . iepf never reply timely. in my case acknowledgement was received one year after the shares received in dmat account.

IEPF's SRN approval takes a lot of time, and if you get a call in its helpline number, then you are lucky, getting work from IEPF is a big challenge.
