बाल कलाकार के रूप में मनोरंजन जगत को इनका प्रदेय सराहनीय है। इनके बड़े भाई मास्टर अलंकार की पहली फिल्म हीरो के रूप में कोमल महुवाकर के साथ पायल की झनकार थी 1980 के समय की। निस्वार्थ प्रेम कहानी की फिल्म मैंने बचपन में 25। 30 बार देखी थी। इसके गीत माया गोविन्द ने लिखे थे, अपनी आत्मकथा में मैंने इनके बारे में लिखा है। पल्लवी जी को पारिवारिक कला एवं अभिनय विरासत में मिला है। बड़ा ही सहज जीवन है। आज के बनावटी जीवन से ये कलाकार बहुत दूर है। हमारे जमाने में टी वी के सीरियल ही हमारे लिए मनोरंजन का साधन रहे हैं। ऋचा जी आप बहुत छोटी रही होंगी जब हमने अच्छे सीरियल तथा अच्छी फिल्में देखीं थीं, यह वह दौर था जब पैसों के लिए कलाकार सामने नहीं आते थे वे किसी निश्चित उद्देश्य को लेकर अपनी कला का प्रदर्शन करते थे। हमारे हिन्दी साहित्य में एक कहानी लिखकर गुलेरी जी अमर हो गए वो कहानी है उसने कहा था अलौकिक प्रेम कहानी है। बस इसी तरह अलंकार की पायल की झनकार फिल्म है। वे बुद्धिजीवी लोग के बीच में अपने अभिनय के लिए अमर हो गए। पल्लवी जोशी भी अपने समय की एक अच्छी कलाकार हैं। ऋचा जी आपने एक मेरी मनपसंद कलाकार का साक्षात्कार दिखाया। आपका शुक्रिया। दीपोत्सव पर्व की आपको सपरिवार हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। आपका यह साक्षात्कार का कार्य तमस से उजास की ओर ले जाने की पहल है। यह दीवाली आपके परिवार में उजली उजली किरणें भर दें। शुभकामनाओं के साथ।

पल्लवी जोशी बाॅलीवुड सिनेमा की एक सम्मानीय हस्ती है। जब पल्लवी जोशी ने बाॅलीवुड में अपना कैरियर शुरू किया, उस समय सुविधाएं बहुत ही सीमित हुआ करती थी, ना तो कपड़े बदलने के लिए वैनिटी वैन और फिल्म के गाने रिकार्ड करते वक्त भी सभी संगीतकार और गायक/गायिकाओं को एक साथ बैठना पड़ता था क्योंकि उस समय अगर गाना बनाते वक्त एक भी गलती हो जाती थी तो पूरा गाना दोबारा बनाना पड़ता था, वो गुज़रा हुआ दौर बहुत याद आएगा। धन्यवाद।

The Joshi family is extremely versatile. Extremely talented actors..sing really well too. I remember a film called Dada I think where Pallavi played the role of a young blind girl. She must have been just 8 years old. But the blank stare that she gave in that film was just phenomenal . But most importantly they have managed to stay down to earth despite name and fame. Alankar still values old friends..an extremely caring host too.
