Waiting for the new mechanised amphibious units would prevent alot of losses on the invasion of Britain. Pushing Russia back even temporarily would relieve a lot of pressure on the Ukrainian forces!

The Ukrainians are actually fruitlessly attacking, with complete disregard for their own lines. If we weren't there to hold them, the Russians would have broken through long ago. For now, the defensive line is very solid, so we'll "wait and hold" for clear air, which also gives me some time to build up the mechanised amphibious divisions

Especially since they were not punishing generals for their defeats. Especially the russian Tukhachevsky and the french general Henri Adeline but i would say that more defeats were because of Tukhachevsky.

But Tukhachevsky probably suffered such heavy defeats because the French army was not modernized, which he probably insisted on. That's a possibility, alternatively, the new marine divisions can reinforce the assault on the south coast, and ensure securing the bridgehead for the tanks

Mr Terry, can you check how many divisions Britain left? I think most of them are stationed in the Isles for home defence so you may have to commit more divisions than you have prepared (such as sending the line infantry the hold the landings so marines would not get encircled). Given you lack sufficient planes to create new air wings, you may have to divert factories to produce planes. Air dominance is extremely in naval landings. Speaking of naval invasion, i heard that naval invasion in TFR mod especially landing Taiwan is extremely difficult. You got to have a complete air superiority, complete naval superiority, multi -point landing plans, sufficient troops for landing operation and many more factors to considerate while preventing the JSDF and Aussie troops from flooding in. Maybe you can assist your marines by assigning your tank divisions along with them because these tanks have a great firepower.

We'll be focusing recon on Britain next, in preparation for Sealion. As for tanks, they're going to be the second wave. In a beach assault, they're completely useless, I think the penalty is around 99%. That's why research is going into new armoured units that are specialised for marine operations

That'd be a challenge for sure. I actually play HOI4 more like a turn-based game, i.e. I'm often pausing, looking at things, going through mental checklists to ensure everything is going the way I want it to etc. Not sure how I'd fare at constant 3-speed RTS :) But who knows, I'll actually have to try multiplayer rounds at some point. As for RP, don't underestimate the amount of mental energy that goes into doing this live. You'll have to have the mechanics down to "muscle memory" level, pretty much :)

I don't know yet, to be honest. It'll depend on if there's much to be done - if there's a challenge left after the war, I'd be happy to continue, but there needs to be a goal.
