With an infant for us we don’t put each other first honestly - baby comes first. But we also love each other more since having a baby because we were very independent and now we lean on each other a lot for support. My husband knows me well enough to see when I’m overwhelmed and he will give me some time by myself to regroup. The one thing I will say is really important for us is that not every conversation should revolve around the baby and schedules. We make a point of asking about each others day or how we feel about things. Or even just talking about our friends and family, the car he’s fixing etc. Just other things so we know the other person still takes interest in us and not just the baby.

Oh my gosh. I loved y'alls interviews on couple topics. My husband is a police chief and I'm a health admin which makes our lives crazy plus 6 kids. I'm growing a mentorship with young moms since I've gone from high school dropout to doctorate student and can relate so much. Love it and you two!

Is this a thing where you guys are only having guests from the bachelor? I guess I’m kind of confused where you’re going with the podcast. I like it better when it’s just Shawn and Andrew talking about a specific topic. I’ve never been one to watch the bachelor though, maybe that’s why.

I agree, Team Mandy. I never watch the bachelor/bachelorette shows (don't get me started! lol) so I had no idea who these people were or why they were on the podcast. I also like it when Shawn/Andrew discuss a topic, whether with one another or with another couple. Sometimes it just feels like a "hey, we have new friends and we're going to gush at each other the whole time...wanna come to game night?!" I like Andrew and Shawn but...I like the other format better as well. It's also not a very diverse group of people they interview. Very whitey-McWhite and heterosexual.

On the flip side, the bigger Bach Nation is saying the same thing, “Who r these randos?!?!” lol. While they have a decent amount of subscribers, the actually famous Bach fam has wwway more of a following! This couple def has more to gain from the exposure. I once dated a neanderthal who apparently had no toilet paper, tissue, paper towels, or napkins. I had to take a massive dump. I had no idea how I was going to be able to pull this off. Pee? No problem. But you just can't not wipe after a big poo. I ended up using printer paper. And FYI: you can't really flush that. So I had to put it in his trash can. And it was one of those little, pointless trash cans so the crunched paper with poopoo on it kinda stood out. I crossed my fingers it would just fly under the radar. Nope. He goes in there and comes out real quick and he wouldn't look me in the eye. LOL We never talked about it, but there was always toilet paper after that.

I agree with Shawn 💯 about the struggles of raising a girl in today’s world. The massive societal expectations that stem especially from social media these days is incredibly worrisome. The media has for decades skewed the representation of how women are supposed to look like and become but never to the extent of today’s societal standards. The photoshopping and other ways that bodies and faces are tweaked are so unrealistic yet it puts a standard in people’s minds of what “pretty” is and it’s just unattainable in real life. Girls are inherently insecure enough growing up trying to find their place in this world. The massive pressure to look a certain way has driven girls to extremely dangerous places with eating disorders, plastic surgeries and mental health issues. Raising a girl in this era is for the brave.

I agree with Jason re: raising girls now...take it from me I have a beautiful strong confident 32 year old daughter...first of all people have to stop labeling everything and treat both sexes equally, I also have a strong, hardworking 30 year old son....no difference in how I raised or treated them, don't be overbearing allow them to be free and happy.
