I had a really nice (and expensive) butane soldering iron kit, came in a wood case and everything. Portable, multiple tips including a shield for shrink tubing. I've done everything with it from replacing mouse micro-switches to splicing 14 gauge wire. Very useful. Naturally, I lost it. This little USB gizmo might do. I'm tired of fighting el-cheapo soldering irons from Wallyworld.
