Tough call indeed.Personal choice though but being a general dentist myself I never let that thing come on my way. In fact I would say it has helped me as I do general dentistry ,implants ,Smile makeovers in my practice. I am now trainer for CAD CAM cerec, TMJD Specialist, KOL of Edelweiss technology and Master smylist. I would say not stopping at JUST a BDS was my core reason of my growth although degree wise I AM JUST A BDS. But training wise I am Implantologist, TMJD Specialist, Smile Makeover expert. Hope my journey inspires dentists who still call themselves JUST A BDS.

How I wish I came across this video before!..Sir, I did the exact mistake you said. Chose to do MDS in the heat of the moment, just because I got a college in counseling. Now I'm regretting my decision because 1. I hate my college. It's ridden with politics, ego stroking and narrow minded people 2. I've realized I'm not really a hard worker. MDS is not compulsory to be successful. Give it your all if you don't get MDS learn dental skills put your own clinic and do well..

I am not aware of it. You have to check with deemed or private universities. Select a university and contact them. But government colleges i don't think possible.

NEET PG basically is your 4 year subject questions. So learning each subject well would help. You can revise mcqs related to the subject as you complete so by the time you done with four years you would finish one round of the MCQs. Serious focussed studying for it starts in internship.
