I just saw kaizo trap on tiktok today and wanted to pause it better to read the code so I went to KZbin and then the Reddit page only to find out there were secret endings, only to find out annotations no longer exist, only to find this video😭 You made a masterpiece and I'm glad I get to watch it in its entirety even 7 years later. I do appreciate that, despite all of the secret endings being, y'know, secret, the first one is actually hinted at in the primary animation. Right at 1:44, when she's looking at the manual, there's a very clear visual telling you to click on the annotated locked spring around 7:01. When the original video still had annotations, I remember that it was one of those 'invisible' ones, that wouldn't reveal themselves unless you actually hovered over it with your mouse, meaning the average viewer wouldn't realize there's anything more under the surface. The whole thing was a very cool addition for curious viewers who were paying attention.

apparnwtly you were supposed to click an invisible annotation on the button at 7:01. Then you got taken to that ending, and then you had to do it again for the button in the good ending at the end of the credits to take you to the "long" ending. The long ending was FILLED with fake progress annotations that led to different videos, some of which appear to have been taken off of KZbin. If you found the right one, which was at that one crash point in the long ending, you got taken to the short ending. Then you had to find the correct one in short, which leads to the maze. Then find the correct sequence of annotations in the maze, to get to the sleep ending. Then there is one more in SLEEP that takes you to the final ending.

When there used to be KZbin Annotations, you were able to click on the locked box to take you to the first hidden ending video, the "Good“ ending. The manual has a cursor hovering over the box with a click prompt. It was telling you to click it at that timestamp. It's a shame Annotations killed this meta game because it was so clever

So this is the true ending right? Any other ending is them trapped in the game somehow. Even in the ending where they supposedly escape and the house is trashed if you look for a split second before the screen turns black you can see a coin on the bottom left and the background outside the window goes black, implying they're still trapped in the game. So this ending must be the only one where they are free. That's messed up.

My opinion of the animation I think focusses on how we get lost of reality little by little when we are immersing ourselves in the game, and that's why I think that the husband when he was connected to the hoses meant that he was so attached to the game that he was already part of it.
