Kajal Jihan Fragrance Review
This is my Kajal Jihan Fragrance Review video with Dalya. Both Dalya and I really enjoy Jihan and have featured in a top 20 list for the future but we have a full review of it here in this video. Kajal Jihan is from the Warde Collection which includes Joorie, Warde and also Yasmina. Four fragrances launched recently. For me Jihan is mostly Saffron with a very prominent rose. I don't find the oud as prominent as Dalya finds it but we agree the saffron is the main player. Jihan is also prominent with the musk. First of all, I love it when Dalya comes by. She has such a soothing voice and interesting opinions. I’m not usually one for fragrances that are described as masculine but when I am, it’s because they are a spicy woody floral. You had me at saffron and clove, honestly. I have heard great things about this house , and the aproach on each of their creations, some of them more loved by his owner that others .That eight point star is almost an symbol of the Alhambra Palace, here in Granada where i live , very close to Marbella here in south spain.

Hey, great to see you two again! I heard saffron and i entered - it's because of the paella more than anything. Love this spice lately and i would like to try as many fragrances with this note to see how it develops in different combinations. Kajal is underrated house imo . I've smelled all prior this flower kind of rings line . If i have to rate my favorite 3: 1.Kajal Homme - i own it. 2.Dahab 3.Fiddah Unfortunately there's no US distributor i think , or at least there was not a few months back. You have to order from their site , Canada or EU where they are widely available. I got my Kajal Homme from EU. Jihan sounds beautiful - woody , ripe and jammy rose with spices . Sigh me up. Virginia USA , or London UK/EU ... at least 97/100 times.

Whoever designer Kajal hired for Jihan bottle, he, or she did astonishing work. If I have to rate the bottle I'll give it 100/100. Jammy rose, dry and spicy with Musk and cloves is intriguing combination. Price is a bit steep, I hope it will be a powerhouse. I'm not paying over $150 for a fragrance, if it's a wimp . Proud to announce I own Kajal fragrance. First time I have heard about Kajal was on JoeScentMe KZbin channel. I presume you know him. He spoke so highly about Kajal Homme , I was pumped. Love those little ring puffs. Fantastic idea. I always end up dropping my test strips and that would make it soooo much easier. Huge fan of cloves and saffron in the right amounts, especially when combined with oud (which I'm just getting into) so the base sounds divine. Great to hear it comes off well on guys. Loving the collab review. Extremely interesting fragrance I’m loving the sound of saffron as a perfume note along with the apple blossom and my favourite spice vanilla 😋. As a chef in my previous career I loved cooking with saffron. A really beautiful spice to cook with expensive but beautiful. I’d love to try this as a fragrance as the mix of saffron and all the other notes sound fabulous. Enjoy Marbella Spain it’s beautiful there, the city of Malaga is so cool.

Never had a chance to smell Kajal fragrances. I love saffron, both in fragrances, and in the kitchen. I'm Pastry Chef. Saffron pear cake , Baked ricotta cheesecake with saffron apricots and Persian saffron pudding are my favorites. Growing up in the Middle East you should know the pudding. Masculine spicy rose with Musk, cloves Santal. Dalya is right, it really sounds like a nice middle eastern fragrance. Appreciate the review, and the giveaway campaign USA

I really enjoyed this review!! This sounds like such a complex fragrance. I've never owned a fragrance that had a prominent saffron note. It sounds like such a sexy, gorgeous fragrance. Leathery, spicy rose fragrance that seems to lean more masculine sounds perfect! I love that adorable rose ring to be used to sample one of the Kajal scents! The interview at the end of the video of all the fragrances in the line was fantastic, too. I live in the US.

The description of the notes and the drydown is just GORGEOUS, I mean, rose+Safrron+Powdery accord... Can it get any better? I love saffron! I use Persian saffron because it’s less expensive for everyday cooking than Spanish saffron. My spice shop also has Greek saffron which is muskier than the other 2. All the notes are what I love, but if it’s too masculine for me to wear, I guess I need to find a new boyfriend! 😆 USA

The energy here in this video is fantastic. Please enter me into the giveaway for Jihan by Kajal. This is a new perfume house for me. I absolutely love the bottle with the purple flower closure. It has a very Art Deco look, and purple is my favorite color. I find it very soothing. Saffron is such a fragrant, exotic spice, and with apple blossom and these other notes, this is quite a unique combination. Whenever I read magnolia in the note list, I have a mini-orgasm. This is clearly not that kind of a perfume, but as I'm a fan of saffron and rose, it opens a new direction to explore. Unfortunately they don't carry discovery/sample set in their site. This policy must be changed. I live in Hungary.

It's not as spicy as those two. It's more leathery saffron and rose. I think you might!

Hi Sebastian I purchased Casbah as per you and Dahlias reviews- first I received the white label now I’m getting a black label but I’m hesitant to open it because I’ve heard that the re formulated version is just terrible,?do you know if this is true

Could you? Please I’ve heard some say that the black label is a completely different scent? If I return both bottles I should trade the dollars I’ll get as credit for Tiziana Terenzi Spirito Florentino- similar to BR-540?? Also many people are comparing the Montale Sensual Instinct to a more masculine version of MF BR-540 do you agree?

Hi Johnny, both the bottle I'm on and my backup bottle have the white label--but if you look on their website it's the black label. I hadn't heard anything about a reformulation but you're right in that the black label appears to be a later release.
