I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the intense version but it's grown on me. Initially it comes off very strong no matter how much you spray, but the dry down is so interesting. And it lasts so long. It lasts all day for me.

I only have Intense, and I adore it. I've even wore it to the office a number of times this summer - maybe some skin chemistry going on, but on me it's not overpowering, the incense note is strongest, with the creamy leather dry down coming through. I'm really looking forward to trying Absolute next 😍

Great ranking. I only have the Intense and Absolute, and haven't smelled any of the others yet (also haven't smelled Bentley for Men EDT) so can't rank those. For me the Absolute goes above the Intense. It's a lot more mature and solemn. To me the Intense is more party-like with the booze, even if warmer, it's a lighter fragrance. In a way the Absolute is to the Intense for me as a wise Obi Wan Kenobi would be to the young and still careless Luke Skywaker. The Intense is great as well though. It was a blind buy for me more than a year ago now. At first sniff I actually did not like it, but second day I was surprised, kind of blown away with the full drydown, a very refined incensy rum scent, as if in a luxurious, shiny, exuberant temple. Btw in their drydowns I find some similarity between the Intense and Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan. They remind me of one another. The Absolute for me on the other hand is like an ancient and very mysterious, dark, powerful, hidden temple.

Love BFM Intense and Absolute, AMAZING value considering their low cost. These two along with PdM Byerley are in a class of their own, just love them. I would love to get my nose on Silverlake, sounds like a cool new direction. I live in the Phoenix metro area and the dry climate eats up many fragrances very quickly, not the the Bentley fragrances however.

I have Bentley Intense. It's a love for me. Why? Because it doesn't smell like every other designer fragrance. It has a rich, smooth, niche quality aroma. Something that when you use, if no one likes it, and you get no compliments...who cares!! Wear it for your own enjoyment. You're right. It is a warm scent. Cozy. More of an indoor fragrance. I'd love if they had candles with this formula. I don't have the other ones. Bentley Absolut would be my winners choice. Thanks Sebastian for describing each of the offerings. Very helpful. Never owned Bentley fragrances and was a bit skeptical of owning a one, only because I pictured the house being a less expensive brand like Ferrari, Jaguar, etc. and did not realize their actual price point. Out of those five fragrances, I've only tried Bentley for Men Intense; I do enjoy that one and I plan on always having a bottle of it. If I win the draw, then I might choose Bentley for Men Absolute because, e.g., I like it that it's the strongest one of the five, it seems to be similar to Gucci Pour Homme, and I can like a strong spicy/woodsy/incense fragrance with a "coldness" to it. The only bentley fragrance I've sampled was Azure, and personally I didn't like how synthetic it smells. I haven't tried any of the others on your list but I think If I had to choose one to get, it would be Bentley For Men Absolute! The note of papyrus is also known as Nagarmotha or Cypriol, and I enjoy its woody-aromatic, even earthy character it can bring into perfumes. It's also used in making "Oud" accords! Maybe in the future I'd be interested in getting For Men Intense, and I've heard the original Bentley for Men is good too. I'm in California! Thank you for the giveaway!

I recently tried Bentley Absolute and yes, it has a resemblance with Gucci pour Homme, a fragrance I used to love wearing and I was absolutely mad about Gucci to discontinue it after such a short period of time. However Gucci pour Homme was much more refined and rich than Bently Absolute. So I definitely won‘t be wearing Bentley because it reminds me of how incredibly good Gucci pour Homme was. Still mad ☺️…

Bland Soir is my nickname for Bentley for Men Intense. It’s nice but I’d usually pick Grand Soir unless I’m running errands.
