Good job.... I schooled & worked there till 2012, then relocated to nrb. The town has changed big time. The expansive road system in LURAMBI area has made me feel real good.

Grew up in KK.Great seeing the transformation.Mama Watoto is one of the first supermarkets that we had back then.When am in town I always pop in-since thats an old Kakamega brand.Then came Walia Supermarket,the defunct Format and lately the recent new entrants.Great work by the county.Kudos also goes to retired President Mwai Kibaki for making MMUST a fully fledged university- which really opened up the town.

Excellent kazi, Oparanya! You only forgot one thing, that would have made a world of a difference. On those great roads, ungepaka rangi. Everything would stand out - and road users would be safer. Overall, no other county comes even close. I know of people from a neighbouring (but noisy) county who say: Ukitaka kuona barabara, enda Kakamega. I hope the incoming governor will not be a let down.

Nice review of" Ingo" nice road network ..but the big problem is that the roads or streets of CBD are spaghetti thin..nyembamba sana..to make matters worse parkings consume the streets leaving just a single lane for traffic and the middle lane for grass and trees decorations.. this is lack of proper planning.hope next governor will improve on this .

Kakamega my home town.... Oparanya has done a recommendable job during his tenure....next do a review on Hospitals/Morgues, Airstrips, state's Lodges n Stadiums, again our county has the best facilities than Busia n Vihiga counties 🙄
