Kakariki and Budgie flirting

My budgie is feeding and treading my kakariki they look like there vents are in line so is it possible that my kakariki could produce mixed breed eggs????

Kerry Ann Walker i very much doubt it, they're entirely different species, but the cockatiel is a different genus to the rest of the cockatoo family, yet they have been bred with a gallah cockatoo. But I very much doubt a budgie and kakariki could produce offspring, even if they did it'd probably not be healthy offspring and would likely be infertile unfortunately (like the Liger, born with gigantism and unable to produce offspring), mother nature doesn't tend to like hybrids!
