Hey, a small tidbit: the often-seen term "bunch" regarding colonies is actually a mistranslation from the Japanese word "banchi", meaning an individual address like the number of a house in its street. Since Sunrise spells it バンチ instead of 番地 people thought it was referring to the English word bunch. The best translation is just calling it "Colony 30"

those are cameras on the feet. the wiki said it was designed with those features specifically to monitor civilian populations during peacekeeping operations.

I own this kit, and I'll say if you got the reprint with the blue Bandai logo, most of the problem with the hands are not present at all. There are some nitpicky things such as the two trigger finger hands are not 100% symmetrical, and the left one can occasionally fall off. The grey plastic, instead of ABS, is now PS which is kinda buttery and fits together really well.

Actually this isn't disproportionate since it's the AOZ version which does have the bulky legs.

THIS! This suit right here! This would be my ace suit if I joined the federation. Give it a royal blue and grey paint scheme with a dark green visor, a three headed hellhound emblem on the right shoulder with "Devils deadly luck" in cursive, have each head carry a different kind of knife, make the emblem itself gold and silver and BOOM! The half blind hellhound has joined the feddies after being betrayed by Zeon.

@kakarot197 It's called Advance of Zeta: Flag of the Titans, it also featured several awesome trial variants of mobile suits used in the Zeta Gundam anime such as the Gaplant TR-5 "Hrairoo".

in a short manga during 0084...yes 0084, these guys got some action in Side 3 during a protest. and a few titans guys even disobey order to protect side 3 from being bombed by some zeon remnants. (guess thats before titan went truly bad)

@kakarot197 one of the main GM quel pilot, is the same guy who is piloting RX-78-5 gundam in one year war. he along with some other guys from both fed and zeon are in the manga from different side stories like Mobile Suit Gundam: Lost War Chronicles

I just finished the Quel and is not that bad, at least for me the only real problem is holding the rifle. But you can resolve the problem getting a better compatible hand, another weapon o modifying the rifle.

Counting CA sales Tax I got this kit from Robots4less at 20% off, so that's like $15 USD so I'm happy there, besides I have 2 GM customs already and the Quel is more customizable (using the TR1 Hazel and the old Titans MK II Gundam) than most of the other GMs

+HyperionGM Yeah, the customization abilities of the Hazel line are really sweet. Robot4less used to have some pretty cool stuff too. I remember I got my ecopla and limited MG Aile Strike + bazooka from them.

Hmm... the GM Quel... The Titan's version of the GM Custom and the GM Custom's cousin. I honestly would of bought this before the GM Custom, but I was more fond to the Custom than the Quel. I'm still considering getting this GM, but I'm a bit awkward to the shoulder armor design. Looks like another kit bash for me >_

My issue with this one is that it looks too similar to the Titans Gundam Mk. II. I don't remember which vid you put them both side by side but it was dissapointing for me. I doubt I'll ever get this one due to that. Also, the GM Custom just eats it. It's weird though, I like the Quel as a suit but this model kit doesn't do it for me.

Maybe the bulky legs. Don't forget that the Mk.II is developed from the GM Quel, so you can't really blame them for being similar.

I think that's it. It's bulky legs make it look disproportionate. It's not glaringly obvious, though. It's somewhat subtle but enough to annoy me. It's noticeable when you look at it's upper body.

after the Titans made of this guy they decided this would be their official color scheme. the mobile suits that they use that are not this color scheme we're not developed by them

Mario Rosa this was developed into the RX 121 series which was used as a test bed for the mark 2. This color scheme became the Titan regulation colors separating them from the regular units. similar to the waffen-ss

It is weird seeing stickers that are warcrimes. The feet stickers seem like they are specifically at "civilian" height for those feet. Which.... well... the Titans.

That's because they ARE at civilian height, they were originally implemented specifically to monitor civilians during occupation... Later the hazels incorporated those and other new cameras for the then new 360 spherical cockpit.

Yeah the hands on this kit are terrible. Had to glue em together so they wouldn't wall apart.
