Even though Kakeru thought about Naho’s feelings, such as when he said he’s going to make her unhappy if they dare, but he’s not thinking hard enough. If he dies in any way, that will make her more unhappy than what’ll happen if they date (he stated he might run away from her if they date in the last episode). She loves him so so much, and he decides to commit (y’know) and leave her? How cruel is that? Not only did he not thought about Naho’s feelings, he didn’t think about his friends’ feelings. He has so many friends that love him by his side, and he chooses to leave them?

When you are depressed all you have are negative thoughts , unable to even think about others since you just degrade yourself and are in a constant battle with your mind to not do something stupid (aka offing one self).
