What was the best street food you've found at Fringe so far? And who was the most original leafletter of the season? I'm all ears!! .)

I meant to say thanks for highlighting the food market beside the Omni a few months back, but the first of us going there was last week... after the Daniel Sloss Playhouse gig, coincidentally! (If you hadn't mentioned it, we might never have known it was there.) Great range of food types/stalls/outlets, plenty of seats, slick ordering/delivery and friendly runners. A joy!

I’m coming to Edinburgh for Fringe this august (2024) as a Canadian Fringer! I know a lot of people find this overwhelming, but I absolutely adore Fringe, and I’m so excited to experience the original! Thank you for sharing 😊😊

Great insight into Edinburgh and the Festival, it was good to meet you guy aswell (I spoke to you at the top of the Mound). The video shows Edinburgh in all its festival glory 👌 Its a magical place to be but I think some of it is lost on us locals! Totally agree that it's the best place for street photography, all the weird and wonderful in our historic old town 👌 Brilliant!😁😎

Great video! 😀 It's amazing to see what you recommend from the fringe! My partner and I have finally got around to see more shows this year, despite having lived in Edinburgh for 5 years and were there for 3 fringe festivals. Our all-time favourite is definitely showstopper! Really hilarious improv+musical - highly recommend! We also managed to just dropped by some great stand-up comedians like Nathan Cassidy and Mike Rice. Both were absolutely hilarious, we had such a great time at their shows!

Thank you for the recommendations! Will need to check those shows out! And I totally understand - it took me years to really start getting into the festival season. But once one gets into it it's fascinating to see how there's something in the programme for everyone!

As a professional Eeyore, i have to say the Edinburgh Fringe is my idea of hell. Wouldn't be at all surprised if a few of the locals feel the same way.

Living in Edinburgh for years and putting up with the clogging mess in August each year (it gets worse each year and MORE expensive), Lockdown wins the 'best years of the Edin Fringe' in my book, as there wasn't any FRINGE. And sadly though it used to be easy to find someting 'funny' in the fringe, now they've wokily-pokily cancelled everybody worth seeing and listening to.

That's why they started calling it the Edinburgh Cringe. If they're avoiding the festival like a leper colony, they're hardly likely to buy shitty merch from there.

@@Kakibot Please do! Her performance was edgy and inclusive! And she had many supporters among Fringe attendees! We love to ask people that we encounter at the Fringe what shows they liked the best.
