i have a tip when your farming DS. you can skip the dialogue before boss 4. by flying up and taking the portal back down. then flying up again. it just spawns the portal. no thrall being useless and weak unable to use the dragonsoul as is. no Kalecgos to open the way to eye of eternaty, to convert the magical matrix. the portal is just there. sadly i didn't find a way to skip the dialogue before ultraxion.

I'll say it right now, Warfronts weren't bad content design wise they were just too easy. Once we got heroic warfronts that required some coordination between the team members THOSE were kind of fun. And I did like the transmog sets a lot. Gradual upgrading of detailing instead of all palette swaps allows really good mix+match for transmogging, we need more of it.

@@Skyblade12 Listen, I play both sides, but the issue with the Purge of Dalaran is that MoP Jaina's writing was a fucking mess (i.e telling Varian to _kill Thrall, someone she's been close friends with for YEARS_ at the end of Siege) and, realistically, using the portal network took all of a moment or two and Jaina went after _everyone_ who could have even potentially been involvede (read: racial profiling more or less). That tailor who's shop is three and a half blocks away from the portal network? GUILTY! The guards who've been standing at the other end of Dalaran for months? GUILTY! Even Varian calls her out on it at the end because it hurt relations with the Blood Elves and made them resent the Alliance more, when Varian was trying to lift them into the Alliance since they were clearly upset with and threatened by Garrosh. And after that the Dalaran Council was like "yo wtf did you do? And no we aren't kicking every Horde race out of the city just because they're Horde." To which she had a pouty baby fit and resigned from the council (wasn't even kicked out, just left in a hissy fit because nobody agreed with her extremism.) You also say "just thrown in jail" as if The Violet Hold is not one of the worst prisons in Warcraft universe, like if Alcaz Island is Alcatraz, The Violet Hold is Guantanamo Bay. Like you can't tell me the random Blood Elf guilty-via-association Dalaran citizens were fit to be thrown in the same jail as: -An Arakkoa who was going to genocide all of Dalaran. (Erekem) -An Observer who tried to genocide all of Dalaran. (Moragg) -A servant of the Old Gods who was summoned into Dalaran and went on a rampage. (Ichoron) -An Ethereal running an illegal weapons market to arm the Burning Legion. (Xevozz) -A Core Hound that was unleashed to destroy the city. (Lavanthor) -A Voidlord which killed over a hundred of Dalaran's military forces. (Zuramat) -A Crypt Lord directly working under Arthas. (Anub'esset) -Lana'thel's daughter. (Thal'ena) -A minion of the Old Gods with direct connections to Yogg-Saron and the corruption of Ulduar. (Kaahrj) -One of Professor Prutricide's creations. (Festerface) -One of Sindragosa's brood. (Shivermaw) -The psychotic engineer wife of Millhouse Manastorm. (Millificent) -A member of the Burning Legion trying to infiltrate Dalaran. (Sael'orn) -And another member of the Burning Legion trying to corrupt it from within. (Betrug) I don't get why people try to defend Jaina on this one when literally everyone in lore was pissed at her for doing it, the Horde was pissed, the Sunreavers were pissed, the Alliance was pissed, the Council was pissed. Literally _nobody_ but Jaina and those in bed with her agreed with the Purge.

@@DuskEalain Because at this point, Daelin has been proven correct, and ANYONE who still flies a Horde flag and bears a Horde banner should be kill on sight. Jaina didn’t say “kick out all Blood Elves”, she said “kick out all Horde”, and she was absolutely right to do so. The Horde are nothing but a death army sworn to a death god. Period. Any Blood Elf who still wanted to live in Dalaran could have rejected the Horde. They didn’t. Instead, they fought under the banner of the death cult, after their leaders betrayed a neutral city to steal a super weapon to enact another genocide, because that is literally ALL the Horde does. Why does Baine still fly the flag of the faction that betrayed and murdered his father? Why does Lorthemar still fly the flag of the army that obliterated his people during the second war? Why does Thalryssa still carry the mark of Elisande? Because they’re evil, nothing more. As long as they still fly the Horde flag, they should be executed simply for being Horde. I don’t care that they’ve kicked out their third or fourth Hitler by this point. They’re still flying the swastika, and the Horde has proven itself the enemy of all life too many times. I don’t give a damn that they’re Blood Elves. They’re loyal to the Horde, which means they had a choice: leave or die. Jaina was too merciful.

Although I'm not gonna say there's no nutcases defending it as legitimate. hey kakio... about your dragon soul problem. once you get up there the first time. take the portal back down and retake the dragon back up and it skips all that dialog and you can go right into the portal to kill the boss. still have deathwings RP but it skips a large chunk of it.. hope this helps. good luck on the mount runs.

I'll be real, I liked the Arathi Highlands Warfront. Darkshore, though, was much more repetitive--I preferred the random elements of switching between commanders and random events of Arathi, whereas Darkshore was more like playing the same scenario over and over but with 30 people. I also liked Island Expeditions. Random map, random rivals, random bosses with wildly different themes, and a quick 5-10 minute adventure. By contrast, I literally kept falling asleep in Torghast. Which is partially because of my shitty sleep habits, honestly, but also despite having 8 or so different tilesets it all feels the same man and goes on for thrice as long.

So, going to say it now. My favorite expansions, thus far, are: The Trinity (Vanilla, TBC, and WOTLK), MoP, WoD (I'm a huge orc lore nerd and wanted to see pre-corruption Draenor and how the Clans were), Legion, and BfA. Basically....Cataclysm and Shadowlands have been the only expansions I didn't have fun with and allowed my sub time to run out during. If I were to top five them: 1. WoD - My orc bias is showing. And yes, I know to many it is a sin to list this as my top favorite but....like....okay, I have no real defense for this. I just really liked the expansion and wish we got more time with it instead of it being rushed like it was. Whenever I make a Mag'har Orc, this is the expansion I level them through. 2. Legion - My Illidan/Illidari bias is showing. 3. TBC - This is the expansion I tried raiding for the first time in. 4. WotLK - Just seeing Arthas's story continue was fun. 5. MoP - This is the expansion I tried Battlegrounds/PvP for the first time in.

There is a reason you don't want to skip the RP dialouge. There is always one person who refuses in any video game. (Looking at you people who play racing games but never skip the flyby when online but always when offline.) I can promise you there is enough toxicity in WoW that if you add a system it will cause groups to implode even more then they normally do. The only solution is to show the person who isn't skipping. They get kicked and the group stands around waiting the length of the scene to get a replacement.

WoD had a few ideas here and there that was good that could have made it a good expansion but in the end the expansion fell short, BFA and Shadowlands was a trainwreck, and honestly I'm one of the people that legion was good but is way overhyped just because it's in between two terrible expansions and it was a decent one I'm not saying it's bad I'm just saying it's not as good as everybody acts like it was but coming from WoD then going to BFA after I understand people perceiving it higher than what it was

Must admit its so sad how wow players see basic story dialouge as "RP" dialouge. Like your literally playing an mmoRPG, yes and RPG the story is a key part to the genre your playing. Just play a mindless action game if it bothers you that much. And yes i agree there should be a skip button but my point was about how story is framed by some players as side content and not a core pillar of the entire genre.
