Well, I started liking the ship because it actually gave me a positive outlook with Jotaro. I didnt care for him in his part except for his few interactions with Kakyoin. He was also Kakyoin's first friend, and there is just this innocence behind that, that is just really cute. I never went out of my way to ship them, but i accidentally found video's shipping them and it just grew on me. Its also nice to think Kakyoin could be happy and alive in some little world out there.

Ohhhhh boy do i have a storry fo you! So clamp didnt only do jotakak doujins they also did jotakak famfic style boolets, i was lucky enough to get my hands on one and BOOOOOOOI what a treat!!! The booklet is in japanease of course but i have several close japanease family members from my husband's side so I was able to get help translating it Turns out one of the sorrys is about kakyoin having a dream, in the dream he and jotaro are reincarnated several times, every time has a diferent storry about them being starcross lovers, one is about jotaro being a wolf... "ehem", but im talking about a specific one. In this story kakyoin is a woman, jotaro is her samurai husband and goes off to war, kakyoin waits for him at the staircaise were they met, for 30 years, only eating insects and drinking rain. When jotaro returns they have a passionate kiss kakyoin acidently bites his lip, when kakyoin gets a taste of blood her starvation took controll, and she begain to devour jotaro, and he lets her, after realizing what she has done kakyoin uses jotaros sword too kill herself so they can be togeather in the afterlife. Like a sick romeo and juliet.

So two other things that would of been cool too mention, is the fact that clamp had a website dedicateted to jotakak fanart called "green drug" that featured a au of jotaro and kakyoin running a canabis drug store. The idea of this would later become "legal drug" a thinly vailed jotakak manga by clamp. The website "green drug" was later taken dow by requst from the creator of one peice who didn't like the section of zolo and sanji porn on the site. Clamp also did "WISH" a jotakak themed manga, the main charecter is a genderless angel that resembles kakyoin named kohaku, who meets a man named dr. Kudo "lol" who saves them and kohaku grants him a wish but kudo dosent want anything, so kohaku ends up following him home untill kudo makes a wish, but they fall in love and kudo wants kohaku to stay, the problem is kohaku is needed in heaven, there job is to sing to egg babbies and make them hatch! And thats how we find out some lore on kakyoin's egg. egg babbies are "made in heaven" no pun intended, When too people love each other so much a child is made for them with the dna and "magic" And is delivered buy a flying rabbit thing, like a stork! So in conclusion kakyoin did not lay that egg it was made in heaven and delivered to them by a bunny. There is actually a song created to explain how the eggs are made, you can find it by typing in wish ending theme, while your at it watch wish opening theme for more jotakak themed goodness. Clamyoins can be found in almost evey clamp work. They reaaaaaly want jotakak cannon. And for that i commend them. In another interveiw they directly mention jotakak to araki, he dident seem to care, he said something about there ideas being interesting but not something he would write but he likes the ideas.
