Kalachakra Ritual Dance

Namgyal Monastery monks perform the Kalachakra Ritual Dance during His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Kalachakra for World Peace in Bodh Gaya, India, on January 7, 2011, in front of a crowd of almost 200,000. As part of the tradition, while the monks are chanting there are also short Tibetan songs and dance are offered. (www.dalailama.com)

The appearance of the "Man in the Middle" during all of this was startling but sweet. I loved the furrowed monk brows.... These rituals are beautiful even when there are departures from tradition. Maybe that is the new tradition.

Kalachakra dancing was wonderful and so meditative, then the Tibetans started screaming at the same time and I thot something was wrong. Let the people dance after the Kalachakra ritual dance is finished, please. The two together are just awful!

sorry but american english should be forbidden in such ceremonies , just listen how it sounds , it does not fit into the chanting of the monks , on top of that i guess it is a christian song , i suggest a song with a Sita which fits into the tune of the monks chants
