Kalamaki Beach Walk, Zakynthos - 16th June 2024

A walk along Kalamaki beach in Zakynthos towards and around the recently refurbished Taverna on 16th June 2024. Part of the beach has been segregated to allow the turtles to lay their eggs and the sand and make their way back into the sea. There has been quite an amount of seaweed washed up along the beach which you may see in the video.

I was there about 10 years ago, and honestly, I’m shocked at what they’ve done with the taverna. They’ve completely changed it. I also remember there was a parking spot at the taverna, but now there are spots for sunbeds instead. Just FYI, back in the day, the sunbeds only cost €7 (10 years ago, on the beach).
