Kinda all speccs are similiar, after demo changes even demo is kinda ez, before the diff between good demo and bad demo was how they use NP, now not one specc has a hard playstyle, destro loss madness, aff was not hard even before, aff is super simple just manage ur dots don't run out and use ur burst windows, what is hard on that?

I know you say it’s the game’s fault, but I would really like to see these videos without Aug and PI because it will give a better picture of the actual strength of the spec and make it easier to compare to other specs. It would also give a better picture of how the spec feels to play by itself. PI always make the warlock specs so much smoother to play. I would like to know what I can expect from the spec without externals.

As someone whos come back to wow from Legion and only plays warlock. Demo in DF is definitely the most complicated lock spec in terms of rotation and min/maxing your pets/spell synergies. Destro is simple and straightforward. Aff has a lot of dots you need to cast but once they are up its just about refreshing on time and, but with demo. Your gonna need imp tracker, understand how tyrant and portal work, but most of your rotation is on CD at any given time.

@@alienzm5212 No. Lock is the only class I've ever played and I've learned all 3 everytime. Its been a long time since I've played. But destro and aff remain the same in essence. Destro = immolate -> conflag -> chaos/incinerate as determined by procs and shards. Use havoc when more then 1 use aoe when more then 2...Aff seed for aoe else dot1,dot2,dot...->drain life for dmg buff. Refresh dots as needed.....Demo on the other hand. vilefiend 45 sec cd plus 20 sec cd, plus hand of gauldan that summons imps (know when to implode vs not to) grimoire of felguard 1min cd, tyrant 1.5min cd, dogs 24 sec cd, dark portal 3min cd. This is just rotation not mentioning the effects tyrant has on lesser demons plus how portal works with shard usage. You have expel shards correctly during open window. Then your main soruce of shards is demonbolt procs. Which use cores. I mean...its not rocket science so you can learn it for sure, but compared to detrso and aff, demo is a lot more to learn.

After, but as he said in the clip at 2:28 that they reverted the proc rate or something. And if you see when he checks overall dmg, its not that bad now (and not too op either).

It’s not gonna be an easy habit to get used to at first probably, but I noticed you’re not really min max fishing for tier set procs (which makes sense since you read chat while playing). Would be interesting to see what the output would be by putting brand on mobs that are about to die, holding core procs when you already have the debuff up etc.

Increase Demonic Core proc rate Nerf the damage of 2P Make it 10s instead of 20s Fixed. EDIT : or make doom brand explode on death of the target so it is not counter intuitive in aoe.

The only reason they nerf so much because of PvPers I'm sure. Nobody can emote at raiding. They should have more support classes and Affliction primarily should have curses that deal damage based on their auto-attacks and cool downs that increase their attack speeds among various debuffs. Mages could even have a Dampening Magic-Aura that reduces magic damage.
