Kalaupapa National Historical Park Tour | Vlog

I was blessed to visit this very special place in Moloka'i-Kalaupapa.
Here are some peeks of this sacred peninsula.
My friends and I did the Damien tour provided by our awesome guide, Keahi. We hiked in to Kalaupapa and back out. It took us about 1.5 hour going in and 1.5 hour hiking back out. I highly recommend seeing Kalaupapa for those who want to capture that special feeling and history of this place.

For older tourists is there another way to access Kalaupapa without having to hike through jungle or ride a mule? Is it accessible by boat - are there boat tours?

Mahaolo! The site is closed due to the danger COVID presents to the patients. I’m currently in Molokai and hope to visit this important site on another trip. Your video helped me see it.
