My Bishop, Parramatta Diocese in Australia is one of these true liberal believers. 😢 The most recent pastoral plan launch was strife with Modernism. Where a guest speaking priest equated sensus fidelium to changing church teachings based on a change of societal norms and the faithfuls views. If that isn't modernism 101 what is? I could list countless abuses. Please pray keep us in your prayers. Love your show Larry. Has kept me at bay and not going down a ultra Conservative Trad road, which is also not what the Church needs! Keep it up, it is having an impact. God Bless you.

I attend the novus ordo liturgy , and sometimes it does seem to be horizontal as you say or without inspiration until it comes to the liturgy of the eucharistic and then I know why I am there and it becomes transcendent. I love the sacraments and being called to live that life.

Fearful symmetry between the "body positive" assessment of incidents observed at a pride parade, and the body negativity, or absence of bodies, in minimalist church architecture (icons, statues, ultimately parishioners). Surely these separate portions of the conversation are somehow linked.

Another reason why we don’t give condideration to dreams is that it seems ‘New Age’ and Catholics are leery of New Age thinking.

Pope Francis wanted me out of the church because I took the teachings seriously. People who did not care feel welcome. I’m glad I left
