This is my cover of Kaleidoscope by Chappell Roan. Easily one of the most beautiful songs from her album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. I was encouraged to cover this by my partner, and I felt inspired to record a really raw version of it tonight. The ol' pipes were not warmed up, and I've been under the weather after a problematic wasp sting, all of which is probably contributing to the cragginess of my voice in this cover, but I thought it lended itself to it and I loved the raw emotion of this take. Hope y'all enjoy! :D
