Why gatekeep an artist? 'Cause that's one of the reasons many artists give up on their art, for the lack of financial support. If there's too little people, there's too little income. Be glad many people know the artists you like enough for them to keep dedicating time to their art.

I really hope Chappell roan brings back that crazy outfit phase we had in 2010s pop I miss when pop girls wore shit made out of food and objects and matériels seeing chapel just reminds me of the good days when Katy nicki Kesha lady Gaga were dressed insane
@meghangerhart6437 ай бұрын
Looks like we’re getting insane outfit Gaga back! For the premiere of The Chromatica Ball last month, she wore this intense, black outfit with giant sleeves and a headpiece (she kinda looked that a fabulous Nosferatu-esque vampire) and another outfit made with car parts. She’s also coming out with a new album soon and she’s got this really dark, kinda creepy, fabulous gothic aesthetic right now. Total 180 from the glam Gaga we’ve had a lot the last few years. I’m excited. 🥰😍 But yes, LOVE that Chappell is expressing herself however she wants to with her clothing/makeup/hair. So much queer culture influences (drag, club kids etc) were huge inspirations for every artist you mentioned and it looks like Chappell is continuing that tradition. It’s so much fun to see. 😍

When Lady Gaga first catapulted into stardom like this, people constantly compared her to Madonna. People eventually stopped, and they will for Chappell soon enough.
