A lot of these comments rave about the amazing things Kaleo has to offer the rock genre, but even on TOP of that, Kaleo also has a gentler, more folky sound with some songs. They are incredibly versatile while still maintaining their genuineness as a band. The variety of their songs embodies the depth and complexity of their talent, because each song uniquely and completely slays any genre it ventures into. It is stunning. Kaleo as a whole transcends genre barriers entirely to me, and evokes an incredibly simple realization: this is REAL music, and it should be appreciated as such, no matter your typically preferred "style". I am in love. 💜
