Listened to this after my divorce. I had sold everything I had, and moved countries for someone I loved. It didn't work out. On a plane, with just a suitcase, a laptop, and carry on bag to my name,. and moving back to my moms basement at 25. I was down to 115lbs, broke, and broken after having given everything I had. I genuinely believe this song helped keep me alive during one of the darkest times in my life. Three years later? I've got a great two bedroom apartment, a motorcycle, a truck, good people in my life, just got a raise, and SHOULD be up for a promotion at work. God has blessed me beyond belief. I was being set free and didn't even know it. "In time, the sun's gonna shine on me nicely, something tells me good things are coming and ain't gonna not believe..." Damn right. No matter how hard it is, no matter what you're going through? I PROMISE you can get through it. Don't give up.

Lyrics: Felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders Should I break or retreat and then return Facing the fear that the truth, I discover No telling how, all these will work out But I’ve come to far to go back now. I am looking for freedom, looking for freedom And to find it cost me everything I have Well I am looking for freedom, looking for freedom And to find it, may take everything I have I know all too well it don’t come easy The chains of the world they seem to movin' tight I try to walk around if I’m stumbling so come Tryin' to get up but the doubt is so strong There’s gotta be a winning in my bones I’m looking for freedom, looking for freedom And to find it, cost me everything I have Well I’m looking for freedom, I’m looking for freedom And to find it, may take everything I have Oh not giving up there’s always been hard, so hard But if I do the thanks lase the way I won’t get far. Mhm, life hasn’t been very kind to me lately, (Well) But I suppose it’s a push from moving on (Oh yeah) In time the sun’s gonna shine on me nicely (On me yeah ) Sudden tells me ’cause things are coming And I ain’t gonna not believe I’m looking for freedom, looking for freedom And to find it, cost me everything I have Well I’m looking for freedom, I’m looking for freedom And to find it, may take everything I have

Gareth Thomas That’s terrible, I’m so sorry😭 I can’t imagine what you must feel. Gareth Thomas has my sincerest sympathies. This life is hard, and some of my closest friends went to the next plane in similar fashion. But as long as we carry them in our hearts, they are never completely gone. they visit us in our dreams and make us laugh and cry. When we yearn for the sound of their voice or the warmth of their hugs and you feel that rush like feathers on the back of your neck...its them. meditate to commune with them.
