In May 2016, I was diagnosed with cancer: AML and had to start my chemo. I was away from my kids and family over a month. My boyfriend (at the time)-and I were tired of the same old music and asked the nurses each shift, to wrote their favorite music down. One Nurse had saw you your first time at The Red Rocks and wrote your name down. The second I Heard your music, I fell in love. See I lost ny Dad also the same week I was diagnosed to a heart attack. I was hurting. My heart, my soul and my body! You healed my soul in so many ways through your music and your lyrics! I am now 6 years in remission. I just bought tickets to see you at the Red Rocks in May. 6 years almost to the day of starting my chemo!! It is a dream come true. Knowing I can STAND and Sing my heart out in my new body and mind to this amazing soul music will be the best day ever!! Thank you for saving me. More times than one! I love you guys!! 😭😭💗😭💗😘

These live Kaleo videos at exotic Icelandic locations are just awesome. They are absolute genre-busters. I hear blues, I hear gospel, I hear folk, I hear rock-and-roll -- it's like American roots music but with a unique flavor that defies description. Here the guitarist is playing a pedal steel that makes the song so haunting. The lead vocal is awesome, as is the backup by the drummer. Just beautiful.

For some reason this takes me back like 15 years. I had the best friend in my entire life. I never fit in well and never was good at social situations. My friend was so popular, had guys and girls constantly chasing him. We spent a lot of nights out together, a lot of times I'd drink too much and wind up depressed. But everytime he'd take me home with one hand while gently brushing my hair with the other. He told me constantly that things were going to be OK. I remember seeing him one last night before leaving for the NAVY. I was more heartbreaking than I ever was. Then some years later he came back to our town and I remember seeing him walk out on the patio and I felt in some sort of way I never had before or after.. that things were OK. I remember him telling me that no matter how much time had passed we'd remain friends, forever, regardless of what happened. Last I heard he had several kids but it wasn't working out with his woman. Wherever he is, I hope he's truly happy, I will never forget the way he made me feel and memories that have helped keep me warm, even on the coldest of nights.

Just discovered this band Kaleo after buying tickets for Greta Van Fleet (Kaleo is opening band). Have watched 4 or 5 videos now, and tears are streaming down my face, which happens to me when I witness something truly amazing. I am a 61 year old man who has listened to and played music since I was a child. This band is incredibly talented in every aspect of what they are doing, and I hope they have a long, long career of releasing music with this kind of emotional depth and dynamic power. I am blown away and about to buy everything I can find by them.
