you don't need music in your surf vids . It just distracts .Just the sound of the ocean is way better. there's some vids from someone in Bali without music . It is sooooooo much better. Everyone has music and it adds nothing.

Very cool footage. Kale I got a question, is it normal having more difficult in surfing small and mushy waves than more powerful waves. I'm an intermediate, when the swell is bigger and more powerful I can pull some turns and I can take off with more ease. When the surf is smaller, weak, but at the se time waves brake really soon, it feels like I have never been on a surfboard or that I'm completely beginner. Is ita normal pattern or there's something wrong with me??

Hey kale, i recently started surfing and I have a 8ft soft top. I’ve been out on the water about 4 times and I get all the basics, (paddling, wave reading, and avoiding getting wiped out) but I’ve only caught about 3 solid waves. Most Of the time I try to catch a wave , I kinda forget how to pop up and I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing. Can I have some tips. I don’t wanna give up on surfing. Also love your videos btw❤️

Hi kales what board would begood for an intermediate/beginner surfer ? I can get up on a wave, ride it out and generate speed on a 7ft foamie. I was thinking of going for a fish and I was curious if I should get a Twinie or quad fish would be better to get, maybe around 6’4,

Hey Kales, I appreciate what you do, however on the next travel surf blog, is it possible to just be vague about where you are? ie. to do this without letting everyone know exactly where? I'm sure you can appreciate how busy everywhere is at the moment and non-residents drawing in other tourists to an already over touristed spot is not really cool or appreciated. Cheers.
