Amazing instrument, excellent musician and wonderful music. Unfortunately the recording doesn't give justice to the performance. The technician didn't know to keep the volume below a tolerable distortion threshold. @schneckenturm - you a gravely mistaken if you think that any phone cuts the mustard.

Sorry, but the Sydney Town hall organ has the 64' Trombone, this organ as an acoustic 64' flue, the 'Gravissima'. There is a link to this organs specification in the video notes on the right hand side...

Have just checked this myself and several of the older volumes of OrganERA CDs are not shown. I would email Fuga and ask, they speak very fluent English! There may be some lurking in record shops elsewhere on the web...

This is a superb recording! After listening to it a countless number of times already, I have tried to find out if this CD is still somehow available. Unfortunately, Fuga has confirmed that the CD is no longer in production. Can anybody perhaps please point me to where I can get this entire recording - CD or digital?

No 64ft on this organ except the resultant Gravissima. The only real 64fts in the world are Sydney Town Hall (Contra Trombone) and Atlantic City Convention Hall (Diaphone-Dulzian).

However, having played the Sydney organ, the 64' rank is a novelty rather than being of great use - and of course there is no fundamental tone.

The organ in Liverpool Anglican Cathedral has a 64ft Resultant Bass which is an extension of the 32 ft Double Open Wood.
