I also recommend Travel Wrench Impact Karambit which is my primary at day and seconday weapon at night, because I have a tactical flashlight.

Flashlight is a best option for me, those with strike bezel. Totally legal and less lethal. Day, it can be a force multiplier or strike weapon at Night it is just the same but at night it can be a deterrent and you can disorient someone with the light.
