The fourth season of ‘True Detective: Night Country’, has averaged a total of 12.7 million viewers (more than any prior season) and has remained the top title on HBO Max since it debuted. Kali Reis and her co-star, Jodie Foster, play detectives Evangeline Navarro and Liz Danvers, who are investigating the grisly disappearance of eight men in the fictional town of Ennis, Alaska, during the 'polar night', a months-long winter period during which the sun never rises.

I was really surprised by Kali's range on the show. She doesn't have much experience as an actress but not only did she hold her own against an acting legend who is also one of the most experienced working actors today (55 years!), she also blew the roof of most of her very tough scenes like she was born to it. I guess soul is a big part of acting and she has that.
