I got my TRN in 1998 in order to get my first job at a Primary School in Hanover. I was 19 years Old then and fresh out of College. I am surprised that Jamaicans in the diaspora dont know what it is since it has been in existence since about 1992 and all government employees and Major private sector companies required it from then on

For Jamaican adults to apply for TRN, you need passport or voters ID and birth certificate you need a TRN for driver's license so chances are from you don't have a trn u don't have a driver's license unless u had one from back in the days before the trn was used as the driver's license number.

Good day, i have a TRN , but cannot find the card, i live ovetseas. Got a notification for a registered mail. My brothet went to the post office and was told to provide a copy of my id. I sent him a letter giving him permission to collect the registered mail. He was also told to get same signef by a JP which he did. Upon returning to the post office he was told that he needed to present the physical TRN card. I do not have a copy here and am not sure whete to find it. Upin enquiry from Inland revenue dept. Was told that i needed to know the tax where the original TRN was issued. I cannor rembembet that as it was done.by my employee. I worked with BNS wgo applied for the trn number. The trn number us on my Jamaican Drivers licence. But they would not accept same at the post office. Am not able to come to Jamaica at this time. I have always used my D/L to do all my business there. How do i get a replacement. The application form is for a new trn not a replacement. What do i do. The matter is urgent. TAJ still gives out card they just have to return at a later date

I look about my daughter TRN last year she was 15 and she still got the card.💖
