I love Beethoven... I was playing Für Elise and Moonlight Sonata on the piano, and I start to cry when I listening to you playing those beautiful music on the kalimba. Hello. Thanks for the video. What do points after numbers mean?

This represents the higher octave for example 5 and that has a higher octave 5’ to play

At 1:02 the points " . "after the number should be " ° " but it means the same thing which is like what magicalmoments said it is used to differentiate the same number but on a higher octave. The more dots/points the higher the note :)

How do I know which thumb plays witch notes.

Some kalimbas have the notes on the tines. Something this video doesn’t have for the notes are the letters that correspond with the numbers. An example would be C1, G5 and so on.
