I've been doing all the research I can about Kalispell and flathead Valley to relocate from Livingston. Thank you for this! Question: do you feel your missing out on sunshine? I hear it's cloudy and makes people grumpy.... It's windy as all heck here in Livingston so I feel like at least cloudy is better than windy?
@LivinginMontana14 жыл бұрын
Definitely cloudier here but temperatures are mild in the winter. It is always good to find some sun at some point during the winters here!
@RadiantRealty4 жыл бұрын
Hey Margaret, It's cloudy here, but they say the cloudy days make it warmer which is usually true. The bitter wind is usually on a clearer day. Also, if you ski, sometimes you get to see the sunshine on the mountaintop when it's cloudy in the valley. They call it an inversion where you're above the clouds and it's so beautiful!!! I think if you've lived in Livingston you should be just fine here. ;p

Your tours are interesting. I've driven this Kalispell street many times on the way to Canada, through Glacier, but we have never stopped at any of the shops except Costco on the way to Whitefish. We are retired and considering a move to the Flathead area and Kalispell is a possibility along with Whitefish or perhaps Big Fork. Hopefully this Covid nonsense will be over by next spring and we can take more of an exploratory visit. I'm wondering what the music scene is like. Are there any smaller venues like bars, coffee shops or cafes which feature live entertainment? That would be a big plus.

Janet, how are the physicians in Kalispell, as you have children. Is there a good naturopath or functional medicine physician vs. a traditional pediatrician (we cannot vaccinate due to genetics). Are vaccinations required for school attendance? We home school, but God whispered "Kalispell" in my ear about a year ago, and the vision that goes with that is a small ranch with adopted children and treatment for children being rescued from child trafficking. In your opinion, would support be found in Flathead County, OR closer to Missoula for better options within a 30 min. drive?
@RadiantRealty4 жыл бұрын
Wow, that's an incredible vision! Our girls have had vaccination requirements for public schools here. I'm not sure about the private schools (Stillwater, St. Matthews, Whitefish Christian, montessori schools, or the home school coop Heritage). I just messaged a friend regarding your other question.
