And the grass he uprooted its because to summon "Brahmastra" Brahmastra was a divine weapon which can be summoned in anything. He used the Brahmastra to kill the unborn child of Uttara ( abhimanyu's wife) And that why bhagwan Krishna cursed him with immortality with bruised body and always blood and puss from it... He will get "mukti" when kalki avatar will be born
