All the comments you made about Bhairava fighting for the wrong side is exactly what is Karna's story - he fought for the wrong side in the Mahabharata and did and encouraged a lot of evil deeds, which led to his defeat, even though he was a great warrior. And Karna was adopted by a chariot driver in the Mahabharata, so in this movie, Bhairava was adopted by a pilot. Loved that tie back to the Mahabharata by the director!

Karn was not ashwatthama's brother. Ashwatthama was the son of Dronacharya (teacher of kaurava and pandava) They were very close friends. Both fought for the evil side of Kaurava. Panadava were 5 brothers. But secretely there was another son (Karna) of kunti before her marriage so she just put him in a basket and left it into a river. He grew up in a lower class family and became a great warrier. So Karna and arjuna were brothers

Basically, in the old days Gurukul Tradition, the wife of the Guru (Teacher/ Master) is the GuruMata ( Teacher- Mother) for the deciple/ student. Similarly, the Guru's son is Guru Bhrata ( Teacher- Brother) to the deciple. Hence Ashwathama refers to Karna as Brother. Dronacharya is Karna's teacher and Ashwathama is Dronacharya's son. Both of them were taught together by Dronacharya ( along with all the Pandavas and Kauravas), so they are also good friends from their childhood. Morder day equivalent- they are all schoolmates.

While I was doing the Hindi dub sync as I listened to Hindi he said mitra and I know that means friend. We watch in original even though I speak Hindi so I have only the subtitles to guide me. If we watched in Hindi I would have corrected. 🤷🏻

Bhairava was so annoying and unserious that his character literally uplifted the other characters and made us realize their importance. Made us appreciate them more. No one played a small part here. Each and every character in this movie is like pieces of puzzles. This first/ introduction part wouldn't be complete without them. Can't wait for part 2 to see Bhairava's redemption arc. They have something big in store for him. He's going to make up for being so unserious here in part 2.

The first villain who was kidnapping girls was the one who put a tracker on the truck carrying Mother, Ashwatthama and the two rebels. He woke up and told Complex about the tracker. The Complex didn't follow Bhairava.

Ashwatthama is not really Sodharudu to Karna. It is really sahodarudu in Sanskrit which means Saha Vudharudu. That is, vudharam means womb. The man who born from the same womb, typically real brother. As we generally use the word Sodhara but in general it means real brother who born to same mother.

@@nikhilnallamothu the comic timing was really bad 😞😞 in the first half of the movie. The dialogues was not well spoken or may be written but they were really borings. I was literally yawning in the first half. Movie took a good pace in the 2nd half after Ashwathama entry. After this movie I came home and watched some other Prabhas' movies and I can clearly see that he doesn't have a comic sense at all.

Just fyi about Ashwa's height... As per the Puranas, men's height decreases with each passing Yugas, hence Ashwa from Dwapar yuga was 8.5 feet (avg) while avg human height is 5.5 in Kaliyuga..

Actually in last scene where bhairava told bujji to boost, the thing bujji said was if it gives a boost, then it doesn't know where it will fall next as it was the last boost. Take it as a projectile motion.

The biggest sinner is Kundhi (mother of pandavas), who abandon the Karna in the river once he born and never acknowledge even she saw him again. When he was mocked and rejected by everyone even though he is greatest warrior she never acknowledge him. that time dhuruyothana helped him and take him as a friend. So, he was fighting for his side on the war. Only reveal the truth to him during the war and get promise never kill his sons. He care for everyone and he lost everything because of his kindness. In this movie he is exact opposite. he is selfish and only care for himself

Aswathama 😎 👍 Loved your rating i would give it a 7 Prabhas's character was way too funny to bear with, in such serious circumstances , i mean the movie needed some fun humorous element too but not from him Villain , the yaskin's right hand was least convincing villain his performance was very linear and timid always giving stupid reactions , villain aura was missing from him. And the weapons felt toys, there is lot to improve in the next part World building was awesome .

To Josh and Miguel: Karan is not Aswathama’s brother. They are not related at all. They are technically only warrior brothers, cause they were in the same side in the war. What was technically the “wrong” side? So there's symbolism shown in bhairawa’s character as well making it extremely similar to Karan’s character and story where he trusted the wrong people and fought from the wrong side against his own brothers unknowingly.

The story combines two Hindu scriptures, The Mahabharat and the Vishnu Puran. The tree is Vata Vruksham (Grandfather Banyan Tree), is considered a symbol of eternal life in Hinduism, mentioned in Visnu Puran. It is a branch from the same tree the Vijay Dhanush (victory bow carried by Amitabh as Aswatthama 1 of the immortals and later used by Prabhas as Karna) was made by Lord Parasuram (second of the 7 immortals, who is a warrior sage and has complete control of his ageing and can even age in reverse), Lord Parshuram gave the bow to his brightest student Karna, hence, there are two people on the planet who can use Vijay Dhanus. Karna is dead and Karna did lose to Arjun. Lord Parsuhram has never lost a battle (there is your Hint of who Prabhas is based on a particular dialogue in the movie). Lord Parshuram is one of the 10 incarnations of Sri Vishnu, his name has both Shiva and Ram in it and is also known as Bhargav, Bhairav (Prabha's name in the movie) is another name given by Buddhists to Shiva, Shambhala in Buddhism is a place known as the doorway to heaven. The entire movie becomes epic in terms of connections it draws by connecting several dots from the actual scriptures and introducing the 7 immortals with finally Vishnu being born in his final avatar as Kalki.

Technically, Karna is an illegitimate child from Kunti. Karna is not Ashwathama's brother but they are the best friends ever. However, Pandavas are real brothers of Karna. So, Kunti has 6 sons, 5 Pandavas and Karna.

Once you see or read mahabarat, you will understand why Karna choose to Kaurava side and fight against his brothers, However karma killed karna is - it took 7 tricks and tricked curses which he got, they all came together at one point of the battle and took his life - which is not relevant to the movie. But why he is a great warrior - is because even the death couldn't approach him due to his good deeds he performed and god changed his form and came to karna and asked him to give away all his good deeds and the deed which is he is performing now by giving it to him, and then death approached him. Thats why his name is Throughout history as Danveer Karna

Tht Danveer ness is a roundbout way 2 redeem himself n feel good about. He was cocky n envious throughout his education with dronacharya g. Ved vyas g has completely described hs character as someone who's just talk n mainly responsible 4 setting the ground for bad frndship example. Do read cz this is disrespectful 2 r teachings n history itself. Good warrior? Definitely. But best? No. He's just made by these foolish ppl as n underdog whi h ppl eat up, cz its much easier 2 blame outside than question urself. Oh just so u dont go 2 d caste system, there was nothing as such in d whole vyas mahabharat. The starting of the mahabharat itself is told by sut. So read about sut community wt it was b4 n such.

That diamond on forehead of ashwatthama makes him immortal( in hindi we call it chirinjivi) So that is the reason no weapon can hurt him, even during mahabharat times also And that is the reason god itself took his diamond and cursed him for killing that child in the womb, who was the last heir of pandavas and lord krishna gave promise and assured that their heir will get all the kingdom, at the end of the war, before war has been started. Pandav were fighting against all evil kings of that yug and righteousness was with them and at that time aswatthama was against pandavs And here he has realised his mistake
