Karna (prabhas) character fought alongside kauravas in Mahabharat (evil side). Karna, ashwatthama, and Duryodhana (1st of 100 kaurava brothers and leader or kaurava side) are friends. Ashwatthama calls karna as his brother because of his friendship and brotherhood and ashwatthama is not a kaurava, he is son of guru drona who is teacher for Pandavas (good side) and Kauravas. By the way karna's actual mother is mother of pandvas So technically karna is pandavs's brother (pandavas knew this secret at the time of Karna's death) There is so much to discuss about Mahabharata even our lifetimes aren't sufficient You should definitely read or watch Mahabharata for the full context of this movie to enjoy it as we did 😅 In india we all know whole Mahabharata story or atleast what is required for this movie

Your doubts 1) even though they arent brothers(aswathama and karna) why they call brothers each other? Ans) They are friends and men we just call our friends 'bro' right same way. But Karna(pravhas)is really big brother of pandavas which he will come to know after near beginning of war. But he resides towards his friends kauravas even though they are evil just because of their friendship and affection towards him. 2)who is kali(kamal hassan) at climax? Ans) he is the evil head or bòss (know as devil god in the next coming mass extinction) but in the movie he got all that power from a single drop of serum from the feotus of kalki. Prabhas is not kalki. I guess he is an incomplete reincarnation of karna. I guess it helps.

karna is biologically brother of pandavas, first born of kunti devi she leaves him in a small boat in a river and was found by a charioteer of dhritarastra father of kauravas...ashwathama's father is dronacharya who is the teacher of pandavas,kauravas and also karna that is the reason karna calls him son of acharya(teacher) since they grew up together and close with eachother he calls him brother

no bro, not at all, lol, the only thing that made me think and predict was the storyline. They made it obvious because he mentioned his "brother" and that nobody else can hold the staff. There were no other options other than Prabhas to hold that staff. So a logical deduction lead me to think Prabhas would hold the staff. Many of my theories in this movie was wrong but this one came right, it was just a pure guess, it wasn't spoiled. The same thing with Salaar ending, the hero is always the chosen one. 😂
