why Karna was shown in the climax? the question many people are asking, saying that Karna was a bad person try to understand what the director is trying to tell us... This movie is clearly promoting the leftist agenda of Karna being a greater warrior than Arjun which is not as the Vedvyas Mahabharat. This movie director has made this movie specifically for western audiences and to manipulate our youngsters minds with a false narrative. The first half of the movie is pure waste of time. Bhagwan Shri krishna always supported Arjun because he was on the side of Dharma and Karna always was with adharma still in this movie they have shown Bhagwan praising Karna over Arjun this again is not as per Mahabharata. In next part they will show Arjun’s Gandeev in the hands of the villain and Karna will defeat Arjunas Gandeev by his Vijay Dhanush as Prabhas is playing Karna. Agar itna he kharcha kiya tha toh movie as per actual Mahabharata ya Kalki puran ke hisab sey banatey.. Bhai kitna paisa mila tumko humko yeda bananeyka.. Unfortunately, in our country, 90% or more Hindus don't know the reality of Karna and still believe he is a victim and great person. Of course he is a great warrior, and he has great qualities like for his daana guna and generosity, his loyalty, etc... but, he also has many bad qualities like being impulsive, being very much self centred, always thinking himself as a victim and never taking charge of his decisions due to his unnecessary competition with Arjuna from his childhood, thus taking wrong decisions like taking the side of Adharma, not being Fully honest with his friend Duryodhana, even though he always claims that his friendship is his most important dharma, running away from war whenever he couldn't handle the situation even leaving his Mitra-dharma for friend Suyodhana, always enabling and motivating Duryodhana to do bad things by giving him his full support, even giving the idea of vastrapaharan in kuru sabha, or singling out nirastr Abhimanyu before killing him or insulting Draupadi and many more.... Yes... Karna faced many struggles in his life, but so did Pandavas.. they lost their father, their own cousins tried to kill them, they were exiled etc etc.. Like people claim, Karna never got discriminated for vidhya. Infact Karna was a classmate to all the kuru princes in Gurukul. Dronacharya only declined to teach Brahmastra to Karna... Not normal education. But such facts are misrepresented in Popular culture which affects popular narrative im the society unfortunately. But unfortunately, majority of the people know the movies and serial version of Karna, and think those serials and narratives are true. Hence, over glorification of karna. Karna has to be glorified for his great qualities, but he also should be criticized equally for his bad decisions. But unfortunately in india, majority of the people only know the good qualities of Karna and make him a hero, and one of the greatest characters... But he is not. And this movie's director is also one of those common people who know about Mahabharata based on the popular stories. Even the grand parents tell Mahabharata glorifying Karna sometimes. Because, This narrative has penetrated that deep in our society. Only good thing is that Dravidian separatist politics is not as intense in Andhra, so at least that's a small blessing. But the narrative propagated about Karna is very much integrated unfortunately through popular media, and everyone by default will get attracted to a "righteous, victim hero" like Karna (which doesn't fully accurately describe Karna's character). I don't think the director is Marxist or pushing propaganda, but unfortunately that's what he has been exposed to, from his childhood just like 90% of the Hindus today. Even I was always doubtful about the validity of Karna's pure greatness (as portrayed everywhere by everyone), and after growing up and listening to Satsangs and also people like Ami Ganatra, I also got to know the truth about Karna. But it's very unfortunate how Karna's character got misrepresented in the mass consciousness and narrative in people's minds, which is totally wrong. Especially in Telugu states, even though we love culture and our movies respect our culture, traditions.. and Telugu Film industry has a legacy to make highest number of movies on historical/itihasas/puranas.. Unfortunately, every top movie on Mahabharata showed Karna to be a victim hero... 😢 And even S S Rajamouli garu told his favourite character in Mahabharata is Karna😢 But only hope is that Rajamouli garu said his dream project is Mahabharata, and he needs a very deep research into every different "version" of Mahabharata found in different places of the country before making those movies on the epic. That's the only hope that Rajamouli garu realises the truth about Karna by that time and show Karna in the correct manner highlighting his good qualities as well as his bad qualities. One more thing, unfortunately, in India, a movie on Mahabharata which shows Karna's bad qualities will receive huge backlash and cancel riots similar to Adipurush, as majority of the people still believe the serial/movies version of Karna being victim hero 😢😢 But Kalki 2898 AD was really respectful, and tried to envision a world accurate to Shastric, pauranic descriptions, and the way it is shown that Mahabharat is just our history continuation to our past, and future where Kalki Avatar will come, and how the movie included concept of Chiranjeevis, who are still alive and will assist Kalki Avatar at the end of Kali Yuga... Is really nice. Hopefully, other Chiranjeevis like Lord Hanuman ji, Bali maharaj, Ved vyasa, Vibhishana, Parashurama, Kripacharya, Markhandeya, Jambavanth, etc.. Like you said, the Kalki 2898 AD movie is a redemption (prayashchitt) to Ashwattama and even the grey shades of Bhairava (i.e., Karna's incarnation) shows Karna's bad qualities, and the 2nd part will be Karna's redemption or prayaschitt. But my only issue is that the only description of Karna is his glorification and which makes sense, as for Ashwattama, Karna was a Priya-mitr and he'll only see Karna as righteous person. But the dialogue between Arjun and Bhagwan Krishna where Arjun was shown to be arrogant saying "see I'm more powerful" , while Lord Krishna is praising Karna's veerta and power (which is accurate) ... seemed little bit problematic as Arjun is shown to be arrogant and no single bad quality of Karna is shown, but reverse everyone is praising Karna to be greatest... That's the only thing I didn't 100% like in the movie... Even though movie is really great. Especially Sumati's fire splitting scene, direct parallels with Yamuna splitting for Nand baba or both Kalki and Sri Krishna born in prison, etc... are all really well integrated into scifi setting but accurate to our shastras

My honest Unbiased review: I watched the movie today . 1st half is very boring till bacchan ji comes . 2nd half better but nothing extraordinary. I liked the part of Amitabh Bachchan ji and bujji very much . Prabhas was above average. Performance not even halfway close to bahubali . The vfx is really very good for an Indian movie standard even hollywood apart from few scenes . Mahabharat sequence of 1 minute at last was outstanding and can fail Hollywood. Storywise , nothing much in part 1 atleast but presentation and concept is good . One time watch . Nothing special in 3d . If you watch then watch in 2d . Only part i laughed was ss Rajamauli sir cameo. That was hilarious.i hate kamal hasan but man he acted very good. Philosophy wise Aswathama things karn is stronger than Arjun and that is ok . In reality in vedvyas mahabharat karna never beat Arjuna even without krishna . In fact karna lost to Arjuna once when uttar was Arjun's sarathi. I really wish Mahesh Babu acts as krishna. Only superstar who can act Krishna as it is him. Or bring the guy who played krishna in Mahabharat serial.

One fine Day Mahesh sir ki wife ko heart attack aata hai and hospital meh admit karte hai. Par operation nahi hopata hai because of lack of money which results Mahesh sir ki wife mar jaati hai. And ushi ka badla liye Mahesh sir apne bete par court case karte hai as ushi ke negligence ke wajahse he has lost his beloved wife, movie bohot hi mazzedar hai. Kaise yeh case aage badhta hai. 2Hrs bohot hi masta hai, whereas last 30 mins ki kahani kuxh alag hi hai and ek masta sa suspense reveled hota hai. Par yeh subject must hai. As the senior citizen point of view ke woh log are not to be left alone, unki bhi apni kahani hai and Mahesh sir sabki ki kahani represent karte hai. Arjun will also be able to defeat karna only when his chariot wheel gets stuck in the ground. Arjun had also defeated karna Bhishma Drona Aswathama in the Virat Yudh but there was a difference between the Virat Yudha and the Kurukshetra war. On the other hand. It was very difficult to defeat these warriors in the Kurukshetra war, hence deceit had to be used to defeat them. A dialogue in this movie where they show as krishna bagwan says to arjun that inspite of indra dev's chariot, hanuman ji's dhwaj (flag) and vishnu bhagwan's avatar, arjun's chariot got 2 feet back with karn's arrow. Where on earth is this false? This verse is in mahabharat. Karna pushes arjuna chariot by 2 feet while arjuna pushes karna's by 21 feet. Then upon asking sri krishna says that having all himself and hanuman at his side he pushed karna by 21 feet yet despite having the weight of the universe against him karna pushed arjuna chariot by 2 feet
