Let me explain why Indian audience is damn eager for this: In Hinduism, there are 4 Yugas (Eras). Satya Yuga (Golden Age) Treta Yuga (Silver Age) Dwapar Yuga (Copper Age) and Kali Yuga (Iron Age). The level of wickedness, badness and misery in world increases in every consecutive Yuga. As years pass, one Yug ends and another begins. Ramayan happened in Treta Yug. Mahabharat happened in Dwapar Yug. Currently we are in the Kali Yug (2024 AD). Now the interesting part, The Yugas aren't linear, they are in a circle like a clock, the end of Kali Yug would begin the Satya Yug. But as Satya Yuga is the holiest of all and Kaliyug the unholiest, the transition of these two Yugas won't be the same as the other pairs. When this happens, the Universe will face an entire wipe out and only the good souls will survive that will carry on the Satya Yuga once again. It is like a circle of life. What begins will end, and the end will bring a new beginning! There are more details of each Yuga, how they were, what were the timelines, how were the humans then, etc. Now, coming to the movie... You need to know that in these four Yugas, to maintain the balance and prove the victory of goodness vs evil (Dharma vs Adharma), Lord Vishnu, the Proprietor of the Universe incarnates in the mortal world for 10 times, called the 10 Avatars or Dashavatar. Avatar is an Indian word. [Dharma means righteousness and not religion here!]. I won't speak about all the Incarnations in detail here, but you guys must have heard about Shree Ram and Shree Krishn. They were the 7th and 8th Avatars of Lord Vishnu. Depending on necessities, He incarnated with different qualities and forms. In Treta Yug, Shree Ram established Dharma by defeating Ravan and establishing Ram Rajya, the rule of peace. In Dwapar Yug, Shree Krishn defeated Kans to protect his region, and his role in the Great Mahabharat to establish Dharm is known by you. Interestingly, till today, only 9 Avatars have been born and completed their goals. The 10th and last avatar of Lord Vishnu was prophecised to come at the end of Kali Yug to establish Dharm once again and this destruction will start the Satya Yuga once again. The name of this Avatar will be Kalki. Even the birthplace and names of parents are mentioned in the Holy books of Hinduism. This movie is based on the place, where Shambhapur will see the birth of Kalki (in the womb of Deepika). Amitabh Bachchan's character is of Ashwatthama(gem man), one of the 8 immortals of the world, who was cursed by Shree Krishn at the end of Mahabharat to be immortal and suffer. He and the other 7 Chiranjeevi (immortals) including Hanuman will pave the way for Kalki to reach his destination to defeat Kali(played by kamal sir ig), the demon. This movie has the backdrop of a very core subject which is close to us Indians and that's why, people will definitely appreciate it. I'll say a very interesting fact at the last: 1. It is believed that in Satya Yuga, good and evil were in different worlds, Devta (Demigods) in Devlok ans Asuras (demons) in Asurlok... 2. In Treta Yug, good and evil were in same world, Shree Ram and Ravan 3. In Dwapar Yug, good and evil were in the same family, Pandavas and Kauravas. 4. The story behind this movie is inspired from Hindu scriptures that there was a war happened in 3102bc named mahabhrat where a character called aswathama (role of Amitabh Bachchan or that old man) where he was cursed by Lord krishna with immortality as punishment for trying to kill a unborn baby and there was a gem in his forhead which give him powers. So kalki which is an avatar of Lord vishnu (who is protector and preserver of universe) born in after 6000 years of mahabharat to end the kali yuga or saved humanity. - this is just I give short information to understand trailer

So 6000-2898=3102 My idea So Kamal Hassan is Kali's human form and the leader of the 'Empire' which is called the complex He controls the resources of the world and by nature is a cruel dictator. The world is devoid of water, supreme yaskin aka kali has the source of water and all resources he controls everything Supreme Yaskin has built a complex which is run by actor swaswata who is a devotee of yaskin aka Kali he works for kali while kali is in the back seat overlooking all the operation Kamal Hassan's empire symbol is TRIANGLE. TRIANGLE is seen everywhere in this movie. It could be The Triquetra of life Supreme yaskin has a 'Project K or Project Kali' in which he kidnaps strong young girls Bcos the kali yaskin is getting older so he needs a new body new form so that he can inculcate the consciousness of kali and create a new kali to continue his reign but none of the girls are able to survive the power. The strongest girls are chosen and sent to the traingle shaped chamber with a seed of kali inside their womb and inside those chamber they are forced to give birth to a baby Kali. Actor Deepika character Sumathi may be is chosen as the one to go into the chamber. Or she is someone who is carrying Kalki in her womb and supreme yaskin is searching for her so that he can kill her and kalki inside her women Yaskin has placed a bounty on her and she is running away from the complex or the chamber amitabh bacchan character ashawthama is an immortal cursed by krishna at the end of mahabharat war is a man with no memory all he knows that he is destined to help kalki in kaliyug and he is waiting for some signs which indicates kalki's arrival , he is waiting since ages and accidently finds sumathi carrying Kalki in her womb Prabhas is an expert thief a bounty hunter among many such bounty he might come across deepika' character sumathi While capturing her something changes prabhas from a selfish guy to a kind hearted helping giving kind of a guy there is group of rebels from Shambhala who are revolting against supreme yaskin army this rebel group has a leader played by actor pasupati they are looking for kalki as they believe kalki avatar is set to appear as some signs indicated Supreme yaskin also has built robots to search for the 7 chiranjeevis (immortals) prabhas find Sumathi but ashwathama fights for her saves her from prabhas and escapes with her and tells her who she is and she might be carrying either supreme yaskin's new avatar or she is carrying kalki who can stop all the mayhem created by supreme yaskin aka Kali. A girl spy love interest of prabhas might come across the news of deepika escaping with ashwathama and passed on the info to supreme yaskin army, he sends his army to defeat ashwathama. Supreme yaskin then orders Prabhas and tells him that he will let prabhas's people his clan the rebels of shambala to live if he can capture sumathi alive for him Prabhas find deepikas signal n he end up in the middle of a desert where Prabhas has a big fight with Ashwathamma, who regains his memory and sees that Prabhas is exactly how Lord Krishna was. And he remembers that lord vishnu next avatar after krushna Avatar is KALKI Avatar He tells him he is Kalki and he is the chosen one who will fight for the Rebels who were captured his objective is to set his people free find kali and kill him n restore peace and order Kalki fights kali along side his rebel group In this fight all seven immortal might come to fight with kalki against kali aka supreme yaskin Yaskin is too powerful to defeat and thats when prabhas is told there were weapons in Mahabharat war which could kill kali like the 'sudarshan chakra the circular sword' a special bow n arrow and in order to use those weapon he needs to go back in time during Mahabharat war and retrieve divine weapons from the Mahabharat to defeat kali aka Supreme yaskin Then likely part 2 is named: KALKI 3102 BC 1. But as Satya Yuga is the holiest of all and Kaliyug the unholiest, the transition of these two Yugas won't be the same as the other pairs. When this happens, the Universe will face an entire wipe out and only the good souls will survive that will carry on the Satya Yuga once again. It is like a circle of life. What begins will end, and the end will bring a new beginning! There are more details of each Yuga, how they were, what were the timelines, how were the humans then, etc. Now, coming to the movie... You need to know that in these four Yugas, to maintain the balance and prove the victory of goodness vs evil (Dharma vs Adharma), Lord Vishnu, the Proprietor of the Universe incarnates in the mortal world for 10 times, called the 10 Avatars or Dashavatar. Avatar is an Indian word. [Dharma means righteousness and not religion here!]. I won't speak about all the Incarnations in detail here, but you guys must have heard about Shree Ram and Shree Krishn. They were the 7th and 8th Avatars of Lord Vishnu. Depending on necessities, He incarnated with different qualities and forms. In Treta Yug, Shree Ram established Dharma by defeating Ravan and establishing Ram Rajya, the rule of peace. In Dwapar Yug, Shree Krishn defeated Kans to protect his region, and his role in the Great Mahabharat to establish Dharm is known by you. Interestingly, till today, only 9 Avatars have been born and completed their goals. The 10th and last avatar of Lord Vishnu was prophecised to come at the end of Kali Yug to establish Dharm once again and this destruction will start the Satya Yuga once again. The name of this Avatar will be Kalki. Even the birthplace and names of parents are mentioned in the Holy books of Hinduism. This movie is based on the place, where Shambhapur will see the birth of Kalki (in the womb of Deepika). Amitabh Bachchan's character is of Ashwatthama, one of the 8 immortals of the world, who was cursed by Shree Krishn at the end of Mahabharat to be immortal and suffer. He and the other 7 Chiranjeevi (immortals) including Hanuman will pave the way for Kalki to reach his destination to defeat Kali, the demon. This movie has the backdrop of a very core subject which is close to us Indians and that's why, people will definitely appreciate it. I'll say a very interesting fact at the last: 1. It is believed that in Satya Yuga, good and evil were in different worlds, Devta (Demigods) in Devlok ans Asuras (demons) in Asurlok... 2. In Treta Yug, good and evil were in same world, Shree Ram and Ravan 3. In Dwapar Yug, good and evil were in the same family, Pandavas and Kauravas. 4. In Kali Yug, good and evil are in the same person, our own thoughts! THIS IS A VERY BIG LESSON I BELIEVE!
