Thank you for your commentary on the differences between acupuncture and dry needling. As an acupuncture student I thought you did a great job of explaining the differences! I hope other PT's and chiros are as knowledgeable as you! It is extremely important to note the differences and similarities! And it is a question we get all the time as well. However, acupuncture also treats an abundance of musculoskeletal issues. Acupuncture is both a systemic and local treatment.

Hello, very good demonstration. I suffer from plantar fasciitis on both feet for around 2 years, and had shockwave therapy only in the plantar area, but it didn't help much. After some time, I realised that only stretching calf/sciatic muscles there is a temporary relief. Is dry needle helpful long term for this type of pain? How many sessions do you recommend ? Thank you for any advice
