Veterans use dark humor as a coping mechanism for the hardships they literally battle though. It also creates a comradery between them. And when it is projected with sarcasm, it becomes a form of affection between team mates. Dark humor has a place in helping people heal from things others cannot imagine. Thank you Kris for all you do. And for being honest about yourself while doing it. You are beautiful and the world needs more of what you bring.

Hi Kris. As a male I was always told to suck it up when I was younger. I can for sure tell you that that mentality is still out there. The last couple of years have been the best years of my life and I hope this year continues to be great.

You've described what sounds like "anhedonia" which is an inability to feel pleasure. It robs you of the joy of life and is a component of Major Depressive Disorder (as opposed to regular Depression, though anhedonia doesn't necessarily mean it is MDD). Anhedonia can make it hard to find joy and comfort in other people as well. Maybe you and your SO can find some comfort in that fact. 7 years ago my depression was extremely bad. I had the anhedonia, and it had progressed to full on apathy. Nothing mattered anymore. I wanted to not be around anymore, I just couldn't leave anyone with survivor's guilt. I finally decided I was going to get better. I found help and between medication and therapy I did get better. I got so much better, and learned good coping skills, and I even got off the antidepressants. So there can definitely be a light at the end of the tunnel, you just gotta get up, and get moving. Best of luck to you, I genuinely hope you find the means to feel better.

I literally love you so much. Your my comfort channel and you always make me laugh no matter what mood I'm in at the moment. And I wish you could see how just amazing and absolutely BEAUTIFUL you are Kris. And also seeing you and Sam and Colby collaborating was just absolutely amazing. You both are my comfort channels and you guys together made me SO happy. You all seemed to get along very very well and work well together and I hope you guys get to make another video all together again! I love you soooo much Kris

I'd talk about my feelings, but I have a hard time experiencing them until they're close to being unmanageable. #Alexithymia #ADHD #ATouchOfTheTism Thanks for the care Kris. I appreciate it. I appreciate the work you and everyone else puts into all this.

I was diagnosed with ADD and high functioning autism. I get what you mean. It takes a lot of practice to get to understanding one's feelings. It took me a while to realise that it's not that I didn't feel much, it's just that I'd become quite good at repressing my feelings.

I hope that whoever you may be you have a great rest of your year! I understand how hard it is to talk about feelings, that's why I keep mine to myself. Most people don't care about guys like us but I am here to tell you that, no matter what there is always someone there for you. Wanna know how I know? Cuz I will always be one of those people. Days will be good. Days will be bad. Life is a roller coaster, enjoy the ride. If you are to afraid to open your eyes, your going to miss it.

Today’s my 20th birthday and I don’t know what I should do today. I’m a little sad tbh but the moment I watch any form of content from Kris I feel better. The compliments in the beginning always make my days and just her aura, her persona, her humor, just… everything that she does makes me feel so much better. I love you so so so so much for doing what you do. Just putting a little bit of positivity out there can help so much. This made me feel a little better and now I made up my mind about going out with my mom and some friends. Thank u for the little brightness that you bring into our lives!!! ❤️❤️ Ilysm
