I’ve been seeing this conversation a lot online atm And I just wanna say there is a big difference between adults dressing like children and using that to attract men by being overtly sexual, age regressors due to (most often) childhood trauma, and people just enjoying/having a cutesy aesthetic and it not being anything to do with sex at all etc just being themselves dressed in a cutesy way and, of course, Cosplay. No. "Littles", if you are speaking of D.I.D, are rare, as D.I.D itself is rare ( making "littles" even more rare ). And actual legitimate "littles" would not be making tik-tok videos, as they are mentally a part of the psyche that is in and of itself a child. "Littles" are not tween or teen wannabes that show off for the internet. "Littles", as with any other "personality" or what the f¡ck ever you wish to call it, does not show itself until early adulthood. 99.9% of the time, when someone that young is claiming "little", or "D.I.D", they are full of sh¡t, and need to be removed from social media. As for "age regressors" , if, as a grown@$$ adult, acting like a child is something you feel you *NEED* to do, then you *NEED* to do it in the privacy of your own home and not online for everyone to see. If you're actually doing it for healing as opposed as for attention, you wouldn't be posting it online. True healing comes from within, it comes from the self and not from strangers. You also need a therapist, asap! People these days are posting their mental illnesses online for anyone and everyone to see expecting to be praised for it. You don't need sugar-coated praise. You need therapy. And there's nothing wrong with needing therapy. There *IS*, however, something very very wrong with posting your mental illnesses online and acting as if they're normal. Bc they are not. Why don't you try normalizing getting professional mental help so you can actually be healthy & happy and productive, as opposed to trying to normalize illnesses that stunt maturity, well-being, and ultimately happiness??

@@SundayMourningLove Firstly, Age regression is a legitimate form of therapy recommended by therapists. Secondly, it can manifest in young people and it can fade. Thirdly, age regression isn't something that prohibits people from being productive. They can be productive and have a set aside time to regress and relax. Or, they regress involuntarily for a bit.. When it gets to the point where it's happening so much you can't do anything productive is when you need to stop or get help. Age regression can also just be something someone does to relax. It helps people relax by regressing to an age where adult problems are put aside. Forthly, (most) people don't put their mental health problems online for views, they put them online to educate and to help others know they aren't alone. It helps establish a social circle for when things get tough. D.I.D. however, is completely different. Firstly, it CAN and DOES manifest in young people. By the time you're 8-10 years old you developed your own individual personality by you memories and experiences mashing together. For Systems that doesn't happen exactly as it does for most, because of trauma. So, certain memories and experiences form different "personalities" even though it's more like one personality cut into different pieces. And, although like all things and mental illnesses there are people who try and fake them you can almost always tell when they are. D.i.d. symptoms can start as young as 5 even though it's more rare for kids that young it does happen. It usually starts at around 16, but it can manifest at any age.
