I remember coming home from bar with a bicycle in the middle of night like 3:30am and I started to listen Kalmah. It was 1.5km (0.9miles) to home but I ended up cycling over 20km (12miles) just because I was feeling it. One of the best nights of my life.

Since you're into Melodic Death Metal you ought to check out the fellow finns Wolfheart aswell! Tuomas Saukkonen is an absolute beast on the rhythm and screams, I'd recommend listening to Aeon of Cold or Routa Pt. 2.

Could you please react to Black Diamond by Stratovarius? It's imo the best power metal song of all time. If you do, make sure you pick the video with the album art and not the live show video. This is because the live show version ends 2 minutes before the song is actually over. Also, since you seem to love Sabaton, maybe you should just listen to the entire Carolus Rex album. It's fucking incredible and the only concept album they've made so far, and the history it teaches is bloody amazing.

I just wanna say this is one of the better reaction channels, both for the reactions and how the channel isn't reacting to almost exclusively metalcore/dethcore. That might also have something to do with your viewers, so I thank everyone!

Believe it or not we have a creators meeting on Sunday where we outline the songs for the week. The goal of the channel is to expose the young one to as many different genres of metal/hard rock as possible. I mention it on the Danzig video. I was exposed to different genres instead of being pigeon whole into one only. This gave me a better appreciation for the music in general and it didn't close any doors, instead it open them. So getting back to the weekly picks, we want to have as much variety as possible during the week, so we try not to do more of 2 bands from the same genre. So we will say ok lets do two melodeath bands, because we really dig that genre, let's throw one metalcore because we also dig it, lets do 2 requests and make sure they are not metalcore or melodeath since we have already cover those, and then lets do some straight up heavy metal/power metal and use the TBT for some Thrash. That is normally the rationale behind the scenes for us. We want variety, we want to check out different bands, different genres, not be stuck doing just one thing. Last thing, thank you for your comments!!!!!!!

Personally, I'm not much into this Kalmah song. Here is 5 that I listen to regularly that I enjoy a lot more. Alteration, They will return, Withering away, Evil in you and Hades. Good stuff right there.

I have failed to check this band out. I did this album two days ago and I really liked it. Just wondering why no one had put me to listen to it earlier :D Reminds me of Equilibrium, a German death folk band. You should make a reaction for Heimat or Wirsthaus Gaudi (music video included) or Rise Again (Live video). Amazing live band and I got see them last year.

mindrust is one of my favorite kalmah songs. also check out an older band called Sentenced. theres an amazing son you should do called Amok Run. came out in 1993. One of the early melodic death metal bands. but amazing
