Kalonzo Raila Tussle

The acrimony between Prime Minister Raila Odinga and vice president Kalonzo Musyoka has taken a new dimension, with Kalonzo accusing the premier of setting him up during the yes campaign rally yesterday. A distraught Kalonzo claimed that the heckling was intended to embarrass him, and disclosed that in future, PNU affiliate parties would not attend any rally organised by Raila or his ODM party. However analysts suggest that political re-alignments and Kibaki succession politics are at play, and that the stand-off between Kalonzo and Raila has been triggered afresh.
