He is the brother of T.S Kalyanaraman who is the chairman of Kalyan Jewellers one of the biggest Jewellery chain in India. Kalyan Silks has 30+ showrooms in India, UAE and OMAN, making it India’s largest silk saree showroom network. With a turnover of 1100 crores, 1000 weaving centers, 300 design centers, 100 production units and 6000 + employees, the Kalyan Silks is a formidable force in textile retail.

ഞാനും ഒരു സംരംഭകനാണ്. റിസപ്ഷനിസ്റ്റിനായി ഞാൻ ഒരു Interview നടത്തി. ഒരാൾക്ക് പോലും ഒരു ഇമെയിൽ എങ്ങനെ അയയ്ക്കണമെന്ന് പോലും അറിയില്ല, അവർക്ക് ശമ്പളത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് മാത്രമേ അറിയാൻ ആഗ്രഹമുള്ളൂ. ഞാൻ ജോലിക്കെടുക്കുമെന്ന് പോലും പറഞ്ഞില്ല. This was my experience with the current generation

@@jj2699 സെയിൽസ്മാൻമാരായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന ആളുകൾക്ക് ഇരിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി സമരം ചെയ്യേണ്ടി വന്ന കമ്പനിയാണ്. ഇപ്പോഴും അവർക്ക്അതിനുള്ള സൗകര്യം ഇവർ ചെയ്തു കൊടുത്തിട്ടില്ല. പത്തും 12 മണിക്കൂർ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നവരുടെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് മുതലാളിക്ക് മനസ്സിലാവില്ല. വലിയ ഐഡിയോളജി കളും തൊഴിലാളി സ്നേഹവും ഒക്കെ വിളമ്പുന്ന മുതലാളിമാരുടെ കമ്പനിയിലെ അവസ്ഥ വളരെ പരിതാപകരമാണ്. അപ്പോൾ പിന്നെ അവരെ ശമ്പളം ചോദിച്ചതിൽ എന്താണ് തെറ്റ്. ഗതികേടുകൊണ്ട് അവിടെയൊക്കെ ജോലി ചെയ്യേണ്ടി വരുന്നു എന്നാൽ ശമ്പളമെങ്കിലും മര്യാദയ്ക്ക് കിട്ടുന്നു എന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തണ്ടേ

കല്യാൺ സിൽക്കിലെ സാധാരണ ആൾക്കാർക്ക് വാങ്ങിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയ നല്ല ക്വാളിറ്റി ഉള്ള സാധനങ്ങൾ ഇല്ല. വിലകൂടിയ സാധനങ്ങൾക്ക് ക്വാളിറ്റി ഉണ്ട് എന്നാൽ അതിന്റെ തൊട്ടപ്പുറത്ത് പുളിമൂട്ടിൽ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ ഒരു കടയുണ്ട്.നിരക്കിൽ വാങ്ങിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയ ഒരു കടയാണത്. കുറഞ്ഞ നിരക്കിലും നല്ല സാധനങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കുക അതാണ് വേണ്ടത്

വളരെ ശരിയാണ്. ഒരേ ഡ്രസ്സ് രണ്ടു കടകളിൽ നിന്നും എടുത്താൽ പുളിമൂട്ടിൽ ഒരു 10 % എങ്കിലും ലാഭം കിട്ടും.
