It's our last day! We headed to Kamakura and Enoshima for an unbelievably gorgeous experience and our grand finale was doing Shibuya Sky in Tokyo! Also, the flight home: was comfort plus a big downgrade from Premium Select on Delta (which we'd done on the way there)? Thank so much for watching!

Thank you for visiting and introducing to Japan. Japan looks forward to your return visit, because Japan shows a different appearance in each season. And remember, although Japan looks small, but it's actually the length from the northern tip of the United States (excluding Alaska) to over the Mexican border. If you compare the length of Japan with Europe, there is a length from the northern tip of Denmark to the Strait of Gibraltar across Spain. Can you imagine how varied there is to see and experience in such an area? No matter how many times you visit, there are new discoveries, that is Japan.

I am Japanese. I have never seen the people like you describing more accurately what Japan is like. As you mentioned, Japan looks small, but it is nearly the same size as California. A North island, "Hokkaido", is famous place for skiing and a lot of foreign tourists visit in winter, and a group of islands of Okinawa with beautiful beaches on the Southern tip of Japan is like a semi-tropical country and popular with people as a ideal place to spend summer time. There are much more places in Japan to visit and see than what you imagine.

BOY, Jen!!!! You covered A LOT! LOL! Don’t know where or what to say but thank you for taking the time to cover all that you did. SO FUN! I never to get Kamakura because…well, it’s so close to Tokyo. LOL! I am glad you went inside the Big Buddha…he’s my favorite there. And YES, you get shrined out very easily in that country. #WaitTillKyoto HAHAHAHAHA!! What a fun break as I pack up for an AK Cruise - leaving for Seattle and then Monday is when we set sail. It’s a working vacation but I love what I do so it doesn’t feel like work. I hope you get a chance to go back to Japan. We’ll be there in the fall for my annual visit with family (+ getting caught up with a year’s worth of lecture from mom - LOL!). I look forward to your other adventures and life insights. I appreciate YOU BEING YOU!! Ugh...sorry for the long comment. LOL!!

Hello there! I am Japanese living in Tokyo. I just love your positive attitude enjoying yourself throughout trip in Japan. Please come again in the near future. My hometown is Nara prefecture located just 1hour train ride from Kyoto/Osaka. It is ancient city with full of traditional cultures with roaming cute deers in the Nara park. Highly recommend if you have a chance to visit there.

Been to both on my trip about two weeks ago. I hiked around Enoshima. I didn't want to spend too much time there not going to the garden or the cliffs. Didn't go to the Buddha statue having already done that before in the past. I did check the crossing by Kamakura Kokomae Station which attracted many tourists because it appeared in the intro of Slam Dunk. I went to Shibuya Sky on the afternoon before 4. Booked a ticket through Klook. Hours around sunset sell out fast.
