I’d say it was more of a risky move than a smart move but in the end, she pulled it off and got the dividends. She went in knowing she’ll get attacked and handled it near flawlessly. Nobody can say she’s a pushover, and by doing so she emphasized how cowardly Trump is. If she can turn few MAGA supporters (although I seriously doubt it) to her side, even better.

The way she reacted to it, it felt real. It's not easy to 'act' in such a natural, reactive way. She did the same thing she does all the time when she's being cut off and interrupted, where her face and body is in the middle of something prepared, and then suddenly it gets stuck and slowly devolves, almost like getting her energy sucked out. As a woman she needs to prove that she can play outside her home court.
