I knew usmans backstory from a documentary and felt for him, and saw his fights and new the dude was up there in the talk for goats. This interview just shows how he's a genuinely good and humble guy. How he said that the only thing that upset him about the KO was when the camera panned to his crying daughter got me in the heart. How even after all the personal shit Colby said about him, including talking about his father, and he still praised Colby, he even said he thinks he's a good guy and you can tell he meant it. He laughed naturally while Joe talked about a meme of the knockout. I respected his confidence how he said "when I get the belt back" without a hint of arrogance, just stating a fact. How he debunked the claims of "it was lucky", and said, "no, he got me, it was a perfect move". Just the fact that he turned right around and was on this podcast, and didn't try to hide from it. This is how everyone's mentality should be. Put everything you have into what you do, and then you can hold your head high without shame, win or lose. Usman is a champion in the ring and out.

Respect to Usman for the way he’s handling this spectacular loss. Wasn’t his biggest fan but def like him more now by his attitude.

It was a privilege to be a fan during the Usman era. Super active, super dominant, went out on his shield. Enjoy your life champ.

Come on Kamaru! You’ve called yourself the greatest/goat literelly 500 times in interviews! Don’t act like ppl tried to put you in that spot! You put yourself in that situation. No one did. You were talking about 205. We weren’t! You were doing too much! We didnt ask for too much mate.

Just an amazing human being. Wins and losses happen. You are a truly exceptional fighter, father and human Mr. Usman. Thank you.

I always respected Usman and thought he was good but the way he is taking this loss made me a fan !!!! Humble in defeat. And he is still possibly the GOAT no matter how the rest of his career goes

People are creators, man, they're gonna love that head kick no matter what. It's good content to see an ego like that gets defeated, cheers to all the artistS that like MMA.
