I knew usmans backstory from a documentary and felt for him, and saw his fights and new the dude was up there in the talk for goats. This interview just shows how he's a genuinely good and humble guy. How he said that the only thing that upset him about the KO was when the camera panned to his crying daughter got me in the heart. How even after all the personal shit Colby said about him, including talking about his father, and he still praised Colby, he even said he thinks he's a good guy and you can tell he meant it. He laughed naturally while Joe talked about a meme of the knockout. I respected his confidence how he said "when I get the belt back" without a hint of arrogance, just stating a fact. How he debunked the claims of "it was lucky", and said, "no, he got me, it was a perfect move". Just the fact that he turned right around and was on this podcast, and didn't try to hide from it. This is how everyone's mentality should be. Put everything you have into what you do, and then you can hold your head high without shame, win or lose. Usman is a champion in the ring and out.

Usman has had a wild ride. I think I speak for alot of fans saying. ........I couldn't stand him when he first got the belt with his wrestling style and stage presence. Over time his greatness rose to a level none of us could deny and his personality and character showed more of his life and created a deeper connection to us all. From his amazing family to his work ethic. Now that he finally has gotten beaten I almost like him more and can't wait to see the fury he has inside him rage out in his next octagon performance.
