What a beautiful looking episode! Super 1's design, in silver and black, was a decisive step into the 1980's, away from Skyrider's very '70's colors. Yet, it still keeps the tradition of KR action in rural locations, rather than the city (Shinjuku, at that time, for Sentai)! Well done!

It's a take on the 100 Man Kumite that high level Kyokushin karate students attempt. They have to go through 100 rounds of one and a half to two minutes of sparring. Reportedly only around 20 Kyokushin students have actually managed to complete it.

Acho que a Toei queria um herói com a pegada do Ultraman Leo. Boa sacada de introduzirem um laboratório secreto onde o Super-1 faz a manutenção de suas peças biônicas. Taí uma coisa que nem o Rider nº1 tinha!
